Accelerometer

The accelerometer  — the device measuring a projection of the seeming acceleration. The name goes from Latin acellero (I accelerate) and (I measure) metreo.

In general the range of use of accelerometers in automotive equipment is extremely wide. Everything depends on imagination, and desire of autoindustrialists to implement similar devices in own products. In particular there are signaling options when the accelerometer fixes rise attempt by a car jack. Also the system of suppression of noise is interesting. Accelerometers are capable to reveal low-frequency vibration. The signal is transmitted to a management system, and the same noise in an antiphase is transferred to stereosystem loudspeakers. The person who after accident or injuries lost capability to control muscles, can have an opportunity to move due to stimulation to certain timepoints. During walking a front part of foot rises at advance, and at the termination of a step falls down. The accelerometer gives a signal of leg provision, and the corresponding muscles are stimulated with electric impulses to manage rise as it is required.
