2018: Every third Muscovite has a smartwatch and fitness bracelets

In July, 2018 analytics Department of information technologies of the city Moscow and the website of personals Avito.ru studied how Muscovites use digital devices including where listen to music more often on what they play games where they look for information. Also special attention was paid to devices which only gain popularity and did not become mass on the present yet: devices smart home, the smartwatch and bracelets, helmets and points virtual reality, game consoles and robots- vacuum cleaners.

According to a research, 8 of 10 Muscovites have a smartphone, but 5 years ago only every third had it. The smartwatch and fitness bracelets gain popularity — at least every third Muscovite has one of these devices aged from 18 up to 25 years. With growth they will pass popularity of ZOZh and services of telemedicine into discharge of mass, analysts believe.

Devices for the smart house (smart lighting, smart sockets, smart security systems and another) are only in every 20th apartment. With expansion of the range of solutions, development of communication networks and services these devices have every chance to become mass, consider in DIT of Moscow and Avito.ru.

In 2017 nearly a half of costs of Muscovites for all digital devices had on smartphones. By 2025 with development of communication networks of the next generation, VR/ AR- technologies and solutions based on artificial intelligence a considerable part of expenses, according to analysts, it is necessary on: devices of the smart home, points/a helmets of virtual reality wearable electronics robots , etc.

As for experience of use of digital devices, most of Muscovites were happy with the purchase. It says about rather high maturity of the technologies applied in these gadgets, and their convenience, researchers concluded. Among shortcomings of devices difficulties in use and also high cost were called.
