Dmitry Bibichev, FORS: Systems lifted in clouds purchase boundless opportunities

Dmitry Bibichev: Within last year we continued deep immersion in new technologies of Oracle, and we bring the policy into accord with the strategy of the corporation aimed, first of all, at the development of cloud solutions and technologies. With respect thereto, great efforts were directed to expansion of competences on cloud services of Oracle. Our partnership remained same successful what it was also in previous years, but in 2018 we significantly deepened and strengthened our relations in the context of cloud services of Oracle.

Dmitry Bibichev: Among key features – rather tough regulation of the sphere of a personal data storage in clouds which imposes certain restrictions for model of use of clouds. At the same time, we found market niches for use of advantages of the latest cloud services of Oracle according to market demands. Customers use clouds or for the solution of such tasks of the business which do not assume placement in cloud infrastructure of personal data, or they depersonifitsirutsya using specialized means. Problems of development and testing, pro-active IT monitoring, classical problems of preparation of not containing personal data of massive show-windows and others concern them. Besides, the Oracle Cloud at Customer model ("A cloud of Oracle at the client") provides all advantages of a subscription to cloud services during the work in own DPC. In the market such opportunity is given only by Oracle, and we as the partner, we offer it to customers.

Dmitry Bibichev: You correctly noticed that migration in clouds for each customer and each system is a separate project where project approach is used. It includes such classical stages as creation of the project solution, plan of migration, determination of target infrastructure in a cloud, the choice of means of migration – tools using which data from the earth will be lifted in clouds. And, certainly, migrations detailed inspection of IT infrastructure, its audit for the purpose of identification of necessary points of transformation of systems precedes, to their optimization.

Dmitry Bibichev: Certainly, they exist, and are connected, first of all, with the reference cloud computing architecture, the best practices of migration offered Oracle. At the same time it would be desirable to note some feature of how clients live with clouds in the course of migration and after it. When raising the systems of clients in clouds it is necessary to consider kind of the fourth measurement of these systems because the elasticity of resources much increases. It is possible to receive at once computing powers which never was earlier. If in on-premise to architecture a system was monolithic, with the fixed selected power, then at rise in clouds there are no such borders any more.

Dmitry Bibichev: It should be considered within projects, to recommend to customers how more effectively to use such opportunities. A view of process of migration through an elasticity prism - a necessary stage of the project of migration which allows to implement advantages of public clouds, actually. For this purpose often it is necessary to enter changes into the systems of the customer, into approaches to delivery of data, their updatings. It is no longer about, of course, about complete processing of the systems of the customer, but only about completion and configuring in a certain part.

Dmitry Bibichev: This program gives us an opportunity to combine Oracle Cloud services with own services, proposing customers the complete solution for a public cloud. "Swagger" showed compliance to necessary requirements — in particular, confirmed the high level of competence on cloud services Oracle IaaS and PaaS. And we actively develop this direction. In order that it is better to coordinate work on implementation, support and development of cloud solutions, we created Command center cloud services with completely built legal, technology and financial infrastructure. Services for access to a cloud platform of "turnkey" Oracle, including development of architecture of the project, deployment of systems and migration of databases and applications are provided to the customer. We as Oracle Cloud MSP, we provide to clients uniform point of entry for transfer of workflows in a public cloud.

Dmitry Bibichev: First, this operational maintenance of clients which is already mentioned above. For this purpose we created own business environment which allows us to conduct our customers on this way. It includes a personal account of the customer, the billing allowing it to control costs, instruments of receiving consultations on operation of systems and expense optimization. Under all agreements the regulations of customer interaction providing different options depending on amount and structure of the services necessary for the customer are created. In certain cases contractual terms provide us the round-the-clock support in Russian. It allows us not just to process the customer's requests in the mode of answers to questions, but also to do pro-active inspection of infrastructure of the customer, revealing "narrow" places.

Dmitry Bibichev: On the saved-up examination in the field of the latest products and technologies of Oracle we exceed many other players of the Russian market. We can apply, adapt the accumulated experience to any situation. Important advantage is also that the customer during the project and after its implementation can interact with the Russian company both regarding technical support, and regarding financial calculations. For customers complete financial and legal maintenance is built.

Dmitry Bibichev: Recently we implemented the project in GS1 RUS Association whose standards provide commodity numbering and shaped coding, support processes of information data exchange between participants of merchandising. We consider this project a show-window of our cloud services because we provided a full range of services for migration of a system in clouds. GS1 RUS selected Oracle PaaS-services for development and testing of the applications in 2017. In this project we managed to show and implement fully the status MSP, to allow the client to use not only standard cloud services, but also added. At the moment GS1 RUS uses services of monitoring of infrastructure Oracle Management Cloud, and we proactively process these data, we provide to the customer daily, weekly and monthly reports and recommendations.

Dmitry Bibichev: These cloud services are, in fact, unique because in them the mechanism of machine learning is used. This feature allows to disclose the high performance of infrastructure of Oracle fully. By means of machine learning of Oracle Management Cloud accumulates the data obtained from the customer on the basis of which analysis the assumptions of uncharacteristic or low-quality system operation become. Thus, machine learning allows to make the timely assumption that there is a problem, and our engineers on the basis of the experience it check and make recommendations. And if the classical model of monitoring of infrastructure is aimed at incidental approach, then GS1 RUS Association, having passed into a cloud, had an opportunity of pro-active end-to-end monitoring.

Dmitry Bibichev: GS1 RUS selected the Oracle Universal Credits model which allows to use the IT resources, thanks to access to all PaaS and IaaS-services, most flexibly. Payment for cloud resources assumes use of the universal credits. These are units of account with which the client fills up the account, and then literally on clicking of the mouse button can consume a cloud service. Payment types – a post factum and prepayment. We actively worked with GS1 RUS, helping to manage the volume of the consumed resources in order that the project was really effective from the economic point of view. It as MSP provider, we create additional value for the customer.

Dmitry Bibichev: Our company develops a set of service packages - basic, optimal and maximum. The volume of contractual services for all different - at certain commercial conditions the number of addresses is not limited, and we perform function of the first line of technical support, playing a role of uniform point of entry for the customer. Regarding broader services we offer the model similar to model of Oracle with providing the cloud credits. Within the package offer we give to the customer an opportunity to address us a certain number of times. Thus, the client has universal credits of Oracle and the credits of FORS. It spends the first for receiving technology services of vendor, the second – for receiving our expanded services.

Dmitry Bibichev: Yes, it is unconditional. It is one of the most interesting and promising products. For example, we tested the autonomous database together with Stoloto company - it is the large technology company, the only operator of the state lotteries. The company - our client on cloud services of Oracle, and we carried out by joint efforts determination of performance of the autonomous cloud storage of data for ensuring work of an analytical CRM system of the customer. The project is considered successful, the customer publicly confirmed that the autonomous Oracle database of Autonomous Database is suitable for the solution of its tasks. All knowledge and the best practices accumulated in a cloud were applied to optimization and configuring of the database. Separate requests began to be executed twenty times quicker without manual configuring. Besides, utilization properties of the autonomous database working without involvement of technical specialists were confirmed.

Dmitry Bibichev: The cloud direction, undoubtedly, expanded business of FORS. In spite of the fact that we as the system integrator already entered a stage of digital and cloud transformation, our traditional on-premise business remains, and we do not see need something here to change. The long period of coexistence of clouds and traditional infrastructures on platforms of the customer is necessary to us, and in the near future we will deal with hybrid configurations. Therefore, we do not see ourselves 100% the cloud company in the next ten years.

Dmitry Bibichev: We will work on quality of service. It will be necessary to continue training of specialists, to purchase new specializations. In the context of examination development we are going to continue immersion in autonomous databases which we consider a flagship product of Oracle and we believe in him. Also we will develop examination on another, already demanded in Russia services - for example, to the mentioned means of IT monitoring of Oracle Management Cloud, container services. Besides, we are going to develop actively the direction of information security connected with clouds. Taking into account that test environments are transferred to clouds, they should be filled with something, very big layer of tasks lies around personal data, their masking and obfuscation. With development of clouds there was also other new class of the tasks connected with control and the analysis of actions of the user and solved by means of such product as Oracle Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB) – in this direction we already train the specialists.
