Dmitry Evdokimov, HeadPoint: We invite partners to joint market development of IoT in Russia

On questions TAdviser on to Russian the market IoT/IIoT, InOne answered the platform, projects and affiliate programs of the company Dmitry Evdokimov, the CEO HeadPoint (enters c GKS).

Dmitry, slightly less than a year ago you brought data into an interview of TAdviser that at the end of 2017 the size of the market of the intercomputer interaction and Internet of Things exceeded 60 billion rubles, and by 2022 volume at the level of 90 billion rubles was expected. Whether justifies the market of waiting in respect of rapid growth?

Dmitry Evdokimov: In my opinion, the market really quickly grows, more real projects became notable. Telecom operators actively develop infrastructure of the data networks focused on transfer of traffic from sensors, offer special rates for transfer of telemetry and remote control devices. It helps to implement end-to-end solutions, from end devices before ready services. Customers and integrators realized the value of application of IoT/IIoT of solutions. Besides, the state actively keeps development of industrial digital technologies, development of road maps on end-to-end implementations is conducted. Some of their directions of this activity the road map on the industrial Internet is. She is trained now by Rostec Group, and we take part in its preparation as a part of task force.

You mentioned obsolescence of the equipment and the security systems working at the enterprises in the same interview as a serious problem. Whether there was this problem relevant?

Dmitry Evdokimov: A question not only in obsolescence of the equipment and security systems at the enterprises, but also in changes of approaches to implementation of problems of complex security. Now there is an active shift in understanding of the term "security" as classical "set of security" of an object connected with access control systems, a fire and security alarm towards security of the enterprise in general: physical, industrial, public, personal. To the forefront there are problems of event management, connected with security, automation of reaction and the help to the operator in acceptance of the most effective solutions. And the used equipment for the solution of similar tasks should be able to interact with the world around.

Your company offers the market a complex product - the platform of industrial Internet of Things InOne. Tell about opportunities which InOne opens for the Russian business in respect of complex upgrade of a security system?

Dmitry Evdokimov: The InOne platform was created as a versatile tool for solving of tasks of monitoring and situational reaction. Actually, we integrate the separate security systems of different producers existing at the customer in a common information space and we provide it transition from passive observation to pro-active monitoring and response to events. The platform instantly collects, analyzes and classifies all huge array of the arriving data. On the basis of the rules of check and scenarios of reaction set by the user it is possible to automate processing of standard events, attracting the user to the solution only of the most important and urgent events. It not only allows to save the carried-out investments into infrastructure and the equipment, but also to quickly solve adjacent problems of different divisions of the customer within the uniform development strategy.

What problems of security can the enterprise based on the InOne platform solve?

Dmitry Evdokimov: Based on our platform it is possible to create different solutions for such tasks as ensuring physical security - PSIM, monitoring of technology processes, control of activity of personnel, consolidation of video systems and video analytics from different producers, hardware maintenance control, receiving telemetry from separate sensors and sensors. For the solution of all these and many other tasks it is possible to use the platform in DPC at the customer, or, other option, - to receive all services of security in a cloud. All this allows to build freely high-tech innovative solutions, and practically irrespective of the infrastructure existing at the enterprise and by that to reduce time which the customer should spend for implementation of separate tasks. I will emphasize that we propose the solution in general, and not just the separate software product.

In what key advantage of InOne before other solutions? What technologies put in the InOne platform allow to provide this advantage?

Dmitry Evdokimov: InOne is the integration IoT-platform for ensuring fast transition of complex systems to the new level of digitalization. We should grow after business of the customer therefore in the platform the huge value is given to adaptivity opportunities under specific objectives and for the purpose of fast scaling at the level of architecture. The central core provides logic of data management and scenarios of reaction, irrespective of territorial arrangement of the device and a physical data structure. As a part of the InOne platform there are different tools for fast integration into the equipment or the systems of any producers, including support of different industrial and industry data exchange protocols, integration at a basis of SDK producer are implemented. Equipment manufacturers, using our API interface, can independently be connected to the platform. Great advantage of InOne, undoubtedly, the service architecture and containerization are. It allows to manage effectively loading and to create the large-scale geographically distributed systems in about tens and even in hundreds of thousands of attached devices.

For what industries and volumes of business industry solutions based on the InOne platform are proposed?

Dmitry Evdokimov: The customer, undoubtedly, needs ready-made solutions, but not a set of technologies even if they and the most advanced. For this reason we offer Customers and integrators ready-made industry solutions, with clear feature set and advantages to business. Solutions are focused on the most different industries - banks, the industry, retail and many others. There are also universal solutions focused on the enterprise or the company of any industry - for example, "InOne. Single system of video surveillance". This solution is intended for geographically distributed objects where different producers of video systems and detectors of video analytics work in the uniform portal. We have an extensive practical experience of creation of the large systems of such plan. Since 2011 we participate in creation and development of the Moscow city video surveillance of the Uniform center of storage and data processing – ETsHD. Now it is more than 160 thousand cameras and tens of thousands of users. Besides, we took part in creation of a video surveillance system of 58 objects on the XXVII World summer Universiade in Kazan. In 2017 based on the InOne platform video surveillance in composition of complex security of life activity - SKOBZh of Krasnodar Krai within which 11 cities and large localities are integrated is implemented.

Can you give an example of the solution based on InOne for the bank industry? For the industry, retail?

Dmitry Evdokimov: Yes, of course. For banks we can offer "InOne. Monitoring of cash transactions" which helps to control cash transactions and also to ensure safety of the point of sale. This year we are glad to provide a ready-made product for the industry, retail and hospitality industry - what is called HoReCa now - "InOne. Monitoring of the equipment". This system solves problems of collecting, the analysis of telemetered informations and reveals deviations in settings or the set mode, the solution is capable to adjust operation of the equipment in the automated mode. In addition the customer receives continuous serviceability check of the equipment, the timely notification of service organizations about need of work on repair or service maintenance.

And all listed industry solutions are executed based on a single platform of InOne?

Dmitry Evdokimov: Yes, all these solutions are based on a single platform, and the customer can combine at discretion among themselves the different InOne functions, adapting the solution for the tasks.

In what advantages of use of the complete solution of security including in addition and a video surveillance system?

Dmitry Evdokimov: In practice of indications of sensors it is not always enough for understanding of an objective situation. For the choice of the correct scenario of reaction the user needs often to see what occurs. Our platform, first, allows to integrate all video surveillance systems which the customer has, in the uniform portal which simply and conveniently to use, irrespective of the number of cameras, their territorial arrangement or the scheme of connection. Secondly, it allows to integrate video cameras, having connected to them video analytics of other producers, to add sensors or other sources of events and to make one "control group" based on a collected pool. In this case, whatever occurred, the user of a system will instantly see the events from different foreshortenings, or to look in archive as events developed. Including, if this archive is located on the video recorder or the video server for thousands of kilometers from the user. And all this is in one portal using web access.

What can the company offer the customer who expressed desire to carry out production digitalization, to upgrade security systems of the enterprise in most short time?

Dmitry Evdokimov: The HeadPoint company offers the examination and resources of the command for joint work over the project with the customer, a full stroke from formation of business requirements and technical specifications on a system before study of the solution in general, implementation and the subsequent technical support.

Whether the company of technology partners attracts to project implementation on IoT/IIoT and digitalization of production?

This uniqueness gives the huge potential for adaptivity to business tasks, and, above all, to technology building of a system third-party digital developments from our partners. Now technologies very quickly develop, to manage to make all independently and qualitatively impracticablly. Therefore we attract technology partners, we offer them our experience and our knowledge regarding joint development of industry solutions using their equipment or information systems. With us technology partners have an opportunity of start of long-term large-scale projects, joint creation of unique digital solutions and a resource of our command for overcoming barriers of the industry.

What companies show interest in partnership in projects of HeadPoint, except vendors? What terms are offered to partners?

Dmitry Evdokimov: We in partners have companies integrators. For them we have very interesting price offers, flexible conditions of acquisition of licenses, there is an opportunity to brand the platform. As well as in a case with technology partners whose solutions we build in the platform, we provide integrators with examination, resources of the command. Regarding promotion of products in the market, we willingly participate in partner actions on the terms of joint financing. We invite partners to cooperation and joint market development of IoT in Russia, to the movement to digitalization of business in controlled conditions with a reliable product as basis of this digitalization.

What aspirations at the company on the future? Whether there is in plans an exit to foreign markets?

Dmitry Evdokimov: The company which does not look forward and lives only present day, cannot develop. We try to create at ourselves the leading examination, to rely on advanced technologies and to propose to our clients the best solutions. We are engaged in internal research and development much, we participate in different actions, we enter into a number of associations and we propagandize our ideas. The main idea - "around us is a lot of data, it is necessary to do them useful". The industry 4.0 and digitalization – not hype, not the hype around a fashionable subject, is our reality not only abroad, but already and at us in Russia. As for plans of an exit to foreign markets, we already long enough and productively interact with foreign partners, and we have a number of projects outside our country. So our ideas and solutions are undoubtedly interesting including to foreign clients. They are ready to do "long" projects, developing the business together with us.
