Development of the quantum computer for 24 billion rubles

At the beginning of November, 2019 it became known of the beginning of development of the quantum computer by Rosatom. Its creation will cost 24 billion rubles from which 13.3 billion rubles are budgetary funds, Ekaterina Solntseva told Vedomosti of the director of digitalization of state corporation. 

According to her, money of Rosatom will enter extrabudgetary funds, however it is going to recruit also other companies.

The first four prototypes of the computer in  Rosatom are going to develop by  2024  — their  size will be   from 50 to 100 qubits. So far the Russian specialists managed to create systems consisting only of two qubits while the American and European scientists  already developed the devices constructed on 50–70 qubits.

The project office was headed by the CEO of the Russian Quantum Center (RQC) Ruslan Yunusov directing development of the road map on quantum technologies within the federal program "Digital Economy".

According to Yunusov, processors for quantum computers will manufacture in Russia, other component parts, for example, lasers or the measuring equipment, can be bought abroad. Besides, to the domestic device which will be based in Russia are going to develop a cloud platform with remote access.

According to the CEO of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev, own quantum calculators should become guarantee of technology competitiveness of Russia including in nuclear sector.

Development will help Russia to be among the countries – leaders of a quantum race, says Rosatom. Between the Government of the Russian Federation and Rosatom there is an agreement on development in the country of quantum computings. 

Quantum computers are capable to solve the problems unavailable even to the most powerful supercomputers, Vedomosti writes: for example, behavior modeling of difficult molecules (it is necessary for development of new drugs and materials), branched logistic tasks, work with Big Data and so on.[1]

Rosatom summed up the first results of digital transformation

In the annual report published in July, 2019, Atomenergoprom - integrated the companies as a part of Rosatom State Corporation, consolidating civil assets of the Russian nuclear sector, summed up the results of activity in the field of digital transformation. It was conducted according to the strategy of the digital transformation approved in Rosatom in 2018.

Results are given on internal transformation of the divisions of Rosatom working in different segments and also on development of digital products and services for foreign market.


Mining division

Within implementation of uniform digital strategy of the Russian nuclear sector at the enterprise for extraction of Hiagda uranium in Buryatia "the smart mine" – the system of modeling and tracking of processes of production in real time was put into operation.

The main components of "the smart mine" — an information system, video surveillance and sensors, on one on the well plus on additional on each number of wells. At the same time both software, and sensors — the Russian production. A system fixes and brings in base of the indication of sensors, analyzes that occurs underground as volumes of products got from the well for unit of time as productive solutions move change and controls work of wells.

If under the influence of pressure productive solutions change the direction of the movement, a system automatically rebuilds operation of pumps so that to align their flow and to return the former mode. If the filter gets littered, a system gives a signal of a malfunction.

Management of all technology processes in Hiagda is made from the main dispatcher station. The operator sees on screens of monitors all production processes happening in the main building, in sulphuric acid workshop on local sorption installation, on a polygon of underground lixiviation.

And at other enterprise for extraction of uranium - Dalur in the Kurgan region - computer ecological simulation which allows to predict with the maximum accuracy environmental impact assessment at operation of the field was applied. Atomenergoprom notes that it was applied for the first time in the world at the uranium mining enterprise in this project.


Fuel division

In 2018 in this segment digital projects in the field of operating control and production management of the heat-generating assemblies (TVS) for power reactors and their component parts on Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (NZHK) were implemented. Also digital projects in the field of purchasing activity, planning and accounting of repairs at the enterprises of a division, in the field of cyber security were executed.

At one of the enterprises of a fuel division in 2018 "the digital double of the equipment" was implemented. According to Atomenergoprom, it allowed to reduce multiply terms of design and cost of natural tests.


Machine-building division

At the AEM-tekhnologii enterprise - equipment manufacturer for the atomic, oil and gas industries and thermal power, in 2018 monitoring systems of a production equipment are optimized. Affirms as the annual report that at the expense of it setup time of the equipment was reduced from 50% to 30% of working time of the machine.

In ZiO-Podolsk - the producer of the high-difficult heat-exchanging equipment, largest in Russia, for the energy industry enterprises – on production the universal system of barcoding which allows to automate process of information input by users was implemented and to minimize influence of a human factor on correctness of the entered data.


Engineering division

In 2018 the integrated program of digital transformation of the engineering division provided by ASE group started. Development of the corresponding strategy of a division and the concept of the digital platform and its infrastructure became its purposes. The platform based on Multi-D technologies developed by the company as envisioned should become the market platform of services (Predix analog – a cloud platform for the industrial Internet from General Electric).

Also the training object of "leaders of digital transformation" is set: formation at participants and commands of support of the basic knowledge and skills promoting further independent development and project implementation within transformation of a division.

Besides, in a division the industry program "Digitalization of Processes of a Construction of the NPP" is implemented. The program consists of five main directions:

  • ensuring quality of design due to formation of digital model of the NPP,
  • digitalization of end-to-end interfunctional and interdivisional production chains (end-to-end data transmission between systems at different stages of lifecycle of a construction),
  • construction management and IT structure of a building site,
  • development of the digital Multi-D platform (process management of a construction of the NPP),
  • implementation of an end-to-end system of management of terms and cost of a construction of the NPP.


Electrical power division

Digital projects of this division are connected, mainly, with products and services for foreign market, judging by the annual report. For example, in 2018 the first stage of DPC near the Kalinin NPP was put into operation. Rosatom expects that it will become the most powerful in Russia (80 MW) and one of the largest in Europe. As envisioned by Rosatom, creation of network of the similar centers within the Mendeleyev project should provide equal access for residents of Russia to digital state services.

One of social project tasks – increase in investment attractiveness and creation of new jobs in regions of arrangement of data processing centers.

Also the division implements the Smart home project conceived for economy of consumers on housing and communal services due to implementation of an intelligent system of resource management. In 2018 apartment houses in which works on installation of elements of this system are carried out were selected from the Kursk, Smolensk, Tver and Murmansk regions. In the long term Smart home should become uniform access point using which inhabitants will resolve all issues in the field of housing and public utilities with a support on digital technologies.


Digital products and services

In addition to products and services for the external customers developed in engineering and electrical power divisions of Atomenergoprom in 2018 the company brought to the market the replicated digital product of the Russian nuclear sector – Logos Aero-Gidro. Created based on practices of previous years, it is the tool for 3D - modeling of processes of hydraulic gas dynamics, solving of tasks of reverse engineering in high-tech industries of the industry.

Also the product "Digital Enterprise" - the complete solution was developed for management of different aspects of activity of large industrial enterprise and stages of product lifecycle, including design, designing, production, purchases, finance, document flow, transport, etc.

The Smart home project which implements an electrical power division of Atomenergoprom is a part of larger project - Smart City within which the company implements automation systems and digitalizations of production and sales processes. In particular, "The digital water utility" allows to manage water supply and water disposal within utility infrastructure in the city.

In 2018 agreements on implementation of "The smart city" in the cities of Snezhinsk, Ozyorsk, Zheleznogorsk, Zelenogorsk, Lesnaya, Novouralsk, Sosnovy Bor, Glazov and Zarechny were reached.

YADRO project: Rosatom creates the platform for information exchange at the horizontal level

The command of support of changes of Rosatom suggests to create the intra-branch platform for communication which will simplify information exchange at the horizontal level. The project received the name "YADRO" — "I think of development of the industry"[2].

The idea of creation of the tool for informal professional communication arose at the last head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko. In 2011-2016 the order portfolio of state corporation began to grow actively. Together with the volume of work also the amount of requests for obtaining this or that information increased. Requests are made, as a rule, by specialists who are busy with production of a main product. In the conditions of a hierarchical structure of management these requests the head of this or that level receives and gives the answer. The more projects it is implemented, the more questions arise. Also there comes the moment when the vertical is simply not capable to pass through itself the necessary information volume at all desire. The administration just does not have time to deal with questions which subordinates often can solve, having obtained necessary data.

There is a solution — it is necessary to develop horizontal communications: give the chance to the specialists occupied in production to obtain missing information from colleagues who own it. It is possible and now, but the procedure of horizontal communication is strongly bureaucratized. Rosatom considers that information exchange can be organized on the intra-branch digital platform like social network. In the same place it is possible to create the database — solutions of these or those problems, suggestions for improvement and t.d.

As it will work

"The main idea of the YADRO project — to give to specialists of the industry the chance to obtain necessary information, having addressed colleagues directly",   — the project manager in JSC Party of Social Reforms Yulia Romanova explains.

She told that it will be possible to ask a question or to signal about emergence of problems in work both on its own behalf, and anonymously.

Routing of requests will be executed by specially created dispatching office. By the way, managers will see anyway a surname of the initiator of a request — decided to refuse complete anonymity to increase the responsibility of questioning. One more function of the manager — refining of formulations of requests which are made unclear.

After the request is specified, the answer to it will be tried to be received at first from the available databases. If the necessary information is not found, the inquiry will be sent to experts — their pool will be created from number of those who have knowledge and skills in a certain sphere and are ready to give consultations. In process of development of the YADRO project the rating of experts on the basis of estimates of initiators of requests will form. Authors of requests will estimate got advice, but not the identity of experts. Simple evaluation criterion: council helped with solution or not. If the question was too difficult, for its solution the project team is created.

Questions of motivation

To involve employees in the YADRO project, the end-to-end system of motivation will be developed. One of useful the practician can be adopted at ASE. There any submitted suggestion for improvement can consider economic effect of the idea. Then calculations are verified by economists of the company, and submitted the proposal receives 25   % of the amount which managed to be saved, having applied PPU. Remuneration is charged after each implementation, but not once.

At an installation session of the YADRO project which took place on February 21 in Moscow, discussed also protection of initiators against discontent of the direct management which, as a rule, does not approve when subordinates distract from direct functionality. So far the problem is not solved.

That at the exit

Developers consider that the new platform will adjust effective communication at the horizontal level. Linear specialists in most cases will be able to overcome the arising production difficulties, having received the help of colleagues.

The CORE is created not only for communication. It is supposed that within the platform qualifiers which will allow to increase efficiency of use of the available PPU databases, Knowledge bases, Atomekspert, "Party of Social Reforms projects" and t.d will be created.

The YADRO project was already approved by the top management of state corporation. Are going to roll its concept until the end of the third quarter 2019 in ASE.

Rosatom will create the company on digitalization of nuclear sector

As it appears from the solution of Board of Directors of JSC Atomenergoprom (enters into Rosatom, consolidates civil assets of the Russian nuclear sector) published on the website of the center of disclosure of corporate information, Atomenergoprom will take part in creation of private institution on digitalization of nuclear sector Tsifrum.

Beginning of transition from SAP HCM to the domestic solution for personnel management

In 2018 Rosatom began, and in the 2021st is going to complete transfer of the enterprises of the nuclear weapon complex (NWC) on a standard personnel management system based on the domestic platform. Uniform digital strategy of ROSATOM State Corporation is developed

The Rosatom state corporation developed Uniform digital strategy that became the major step to acceleration of digital transformation of the industry, ensuring import substitution, accomplishment of obligations to the state within implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and product development of civil appointment as defense industry enterprises.

The priority directions of strategy include: digitalization of the basic internal processes and functions of corporation; development and output to the market of digital products of Rosatom; participation of State corporation in development of digital economy, in particular - creation of the innovation centers for end-to-end technologies. An important element of Uniform digital strategy is cooperation with other large companies and corporations working on the development and implementation of digital technologies, educational institutions, the companies of IT market, institutes of development, public authorities dealing with issues of digital economy at the federal and regional levels and other participants of process of digitalization both in the Russian Federation and in the world market. The Program of organizational conversions and also the Program of formation of a professional command and evolution of digital corporate culture which means development of digital competences of all categories of personnel, including top management, heads of an average and younger link, specialists became a part of Uniform digital strategy.

"Serious work is done. Rosatom is the multi-profile corporation integrating the most versatile activities. A problem of development of the digital strategy integrating all digital initiatives of such structure – very difficult. The uniform digital strategy of Rosatom is the complex and deeply worked document in which creation representatives of all divisions of the industry took part. Strategy realizes our vision of development of digitalization of Rosatom and its role in digitalization of the country as for the long-term period – till 2030, – and for the average and short-term period – with detailed road maps in each direction of Strategy. So, for example, on the horizon of 2020-2021 obtaining the first results of digitalization regarding import substitution of the foreign software, increase in efficiency of basic processes and labor productivity, reduction of terms of decision making is planned. On the horizon of 2024 we move to the purposes designated in May Decrees of the Russian President, such as creation of steady and safe competitive infrastructure, transition to primary use of domestic software, digital conversion of the power environment, implementation of end-to-end technologies. It is also necessary to note what we realize that, despite the thoroughness, the created document – not for ever as the digital world changes very quickly. Rosatom builds the uniform digital strategy of development of nuclear sector

Development of uniform digital strategy and also implementation and information technology development in key activities of nuclear sector became primary subjects of a meeting of the information and technology expert advice (ITEA) of ROSATOM State Corporation which passed on the Kalinin NPP from November 7 to November 9, 2018.

ITES is a leader command which heads of IT services of divisions of State corporation and the large IT enterprises enter. The director of the department of information technologies of ROSATOM State Corporation Evgeny Abakumov heads expert advice.

Members of information and technology expert advice discussed the issues connected with general strategy in information technology field and digitalizations of the industry, architectural and technology aspects of development of information systems and services of Rosatom.

The central place of a discussion was taken by a subject of creation of "digital" production which will allow the enterprises to pass to new methods of the organization of productive activity. "One of perspective digital products is creation of "the digital double the" of the enterprise which is completely repeating characteristics of the real equipment on which it is possible to change the modes to predict state changes and other, - Evgeny Abakumov noted. - Such technology will increase security of nuclear power plant and will give the chance to manage all stages of its lifecycle from design before decommissioning".

According to the director of digitalization of ROSATOM State Corporation Ekaterina Solntseva, the Kalinin NPP was selected for holding a meeting not accidentally. "Near nuclear power plant the Data Processing Center (DPC), largest in Russia, which takes the central place in terms of perspectives of development of infrastructure of the enterprises and the program of digitalization is placed", - she noted.

From clients in IT suppliers: As Rosatom began to earn billions from digital technologies

Kirill Komarov, the First Deputy CEO, the director of the block of development and the international business of Rosatom, on PIEF in May, 2018 told what is meant by digitalization for state corporation and as she earns on it money. Digitalization for Rosatom, according to him, consists of three main parts. First, being corporation with number of staff more than 250 thousand people and 400 enterprises, Rosatom now - the huge consumer of the digital products necessary for the effective organization of the activity.

At the same time, Rosatom itself also is a producer of digital products. It is the second part of digitalization for Rosatom, the representative of state corporation noted. Owing to features of Rosatom which is engaged not only a civil, but also defense subject long ago it initially made a large number of goods and services for itself(himself), without having an opportunity or without wishing to display them outside.

It gave to Rosatom the chance to acquire "absolutely unique technologies" in different fields of activity: beginning from modeling of industrial processes and calculations on supercomputers and finishing with digital developments in the field of, for example, design and a construction of the nuclear power stations (NPS), Kirill Komarov says.

The representative of state corporation said that developments which Rosatom did, first of all, for itself become more and more demanded by the market. The state corporation sees serious processes of changes in requirements of the clients, and not only in new businesses which Rosatom develops. At the end of 2017 more than 20% of revenue of Rosatom in a civil part of the industry brought new businesses, many of which initially are digital.

But even in areas, usual for Rosatom, such as construction of the NPP in Russia and worldwide, we see what more and more serious role is played by digital technologies. And case any more not that they help us to execute more successfully projects on a construction of the NPP, and it becomes the categorical requirement of our clients. Kirill Komarov added what even in this activities, usual for Rosatom, for creation of the NPP of at least 20% of business already managed to become digital. It, first, means large amounts of money. The project on a construction of the standard two-block NPP in the world costs about $10-12 billion or euro, depending on the country and from conditions, it provided data.

Besides, it sets serious requirements to partners with which Rosatom works in such projects because all processes begin to be interconnected. If the customer needs to show completely digital product, then this digitalization begins from machines on which the equipment for the NPP, to the most difficult automatic control systems and control connecting all elements of the NPP together becomes.

All this allows Rosatom to participate also in the national digital agenda in Russia, Komarov noted: in the Digital Economy program implemented in Russia Rosatom is appointed one of competence centers in a number of the important directions, such as Big Data, virtual and augmented reality. It is the third part of the direction of digitalization for Rosatom.

According to Kirill Komarov, here Rosatom introduces the baggage of the digital practices created in state corporation including creation of the digital enterprise, multi-D technology for a construction of the NPP and others that, actually, "share them with the whole country and give it the chance to be lifted to the new level of technology development".

Speaking about the level of technology dependence of industry projects on foreign vendors, Mosquitoes noted that when Rosatom builds the NPP in the territory of Russia, about 97-98% in this station are normal - it is set of the Russian goods, works and services. Though if to dig slightly more deeply, and to look from where these Russian goods undertook, works and services, it is possible to find "traces of a transfer of technologies and joint businesses" in a number of cases, he says.

2015: Strategy of mastering of the hi-tech markets

The director of the department of development of the YaOK research and production base of Rosatom Sergey Vlasov in April, 2015 told about the priority directions of the hi-tech products created within civil developments of a nuclear and weapon complex about plans and the purposes in these markets and also about importozamestitelny aspect of these developments.

In Rosatom, in particular, carry to the priority hi-tech directions security systems,an APCS, electrical equipment, means and methods of calculations, laser and accelerator technologies.

Security systems

In Vlasov's report it is noted that on security systems Rosatom sets as the purpose to leave in top three in the Russian market and in top ten in global market. The enterprises of state corporation cover all range of the technical systems in this area: the product line includes control systems access, video surveillance systems, metaldetectors, the neutron systems, detectors of vapors and particles of the prohibited substances, the systems of the security and fire warning, the X-ray-television systems and radiation monitors.

In total the enterprises of Rosatom equipped with security systems more than 10 thousand objects. In addition to objects of Rosatom, among them – buildings of public authorities (Presidential Administration,the Government of the Russian Federation,the State Duma and the Federation Council), objects of law enforcement agencies (the Ministry of Defence,FSB,the Ministry of Internal Affairs,FPS), objects of energy industry (Gazprom,Rosneft,Lukoil,Transneft), objects of transport infrastructure and many others.

Regarding an APCS the purpose of Rosatom is mastering of the market of the NPP with single industry solution and achievement of steady positions in allied industries (the oil and gas industry, difficult productions). The product line of the enterprises of Rosatom in this direction includes the complexes of telemechanics, an APCS of power and industrial facilities, control and management systems for bushes of gas wells, debug and training software packages, program technical means of supervisory control and software and hardware complexes of the systems of the top block level of an APCS integrated by an APCS, unified.

Among advantages an APCS in Rosatom call that aspect that all types of the equipment, nodes, devices, including printed circuit boards and modules with surface mount, are manufactured in Russia according to the design documentation developed on the basis of domestic standards.

Means and methods of calculations

The purpose in the direction of means and methods of calculations Rosatom puts an output to the Russian market of a commercial packet of simulation modeling of domestic development and start of the supercomputer of exaFLOPS performance level. Services and products of this direction include services in settlement modeling,computer center of collective use, a line of the super computer with a power from 1 to 100 of Tflops and also the application software for reverse engineering (LOGOS-CFD packets, LOGOS-Prochnost, Danko + the Cheetah,NYMPHA) which, according to the statements of Rosatom, covers up to 70% of classes of tasks of the enterprises of the industry.

Laser technologies

Regarding laser and accelerator technologies Rosatom is going to bring to the market own laser diode radiators, the laser systems of direct action and a laser equipment on their basis. The main part of developments in this direction is conducted in VNIIEF. It should be noted that in VNIIEF creation of the world's largest UFL-2M laser machine is conducted.

By the beginning 2015 in a portfolio on laser technologies - 14 clients, generally – special and scientific areas. At the same time, the first-priority consumer of the laser technologies in Rosatom designates mechanical engineering. According to plans of corporation, in 2015 the portfolio of laser projects should be replenished about 20 large machine-building companies of the Ural region, and by 2017 – to establish partnership with industry design institutes and to create offers for the leading companies (automotive industry, the aerospace industry, etc.).

Electrical equipment

Concerning electrical equipment the purpose of Rosatom is formation of effective partnership and "steady deliveries to the biggest customers". Like those is the large companies of fuel and energy complex of Russia and the neighboring countries. Products range in this direction includes transformer substations, voltage transformers, metalconstructs, etc.

Import substitution

In Sergey Vlasov's report it is emphasized that the product strategy of a nuclear weapon complex is directed to "full-scale import substitution in the priority markets of products and provides use of domestic technologies, materials and component parts".

In the same place it is noted that on import substitution extensive sci-tech cooperation with the oil and gas industry is conducted. In particular, with Gazprom: "The business community which makes the serious competition to the western companies was formed. Tens of private companies which are successfully competing in the market of Gazprom are created. More than 10,000 specialists are involved in this activity", the report says.

2014

The new Chief information officer - Anastasia Chistyakova

In 2014 Anastasia Chistyakova was appointed the director of the department of information technologies of Rosatom. Information on it appeared in the section of structural divisions on the website of state corporation. In a new position it replaced Evgeny Charkin who headed IT department of Rosatom since October, 2012, and in August, 2014 passed to the Chief information officer's position into Metalloinvest. Results of transformation of IT

In 2014 within the program of transformation of IT of Rosatom development and replication of the industry systems at the enterprises of state corporation continued. Among them -a single system of document flow, an enterprise management system based on SAP ERP and 1C, personnel management systems based on SAP HCM and ETWEB, vendor relationship management systems based on SAP SRM, the information management system a project portfolio, etc.

At the end of December, 2014 the messenger of the program of transformation of IT of Rosatom with reference to the director of the department of IT of state corporation Anastasia Chistyakova reported that as of the end of the year the program is executed for 60%.

In February, 2015 in direct systems of the company many new enterprises start, and in Rosatom expect to reach a program fill rate for 70%. It is going to finish the program fully in the first quarter 2018, Chistyakova reported.

According to her, in 2014 the bar on quality of the IT services provided in the company was significantly raised. In general,SLA (Service Level Agreement) was toughened more than by 10 times. For example, the target objective of quality of maintenance was raised from 95% to 99.7%. It means that only 3 of 1000 addresses (earlier 50) can be executed with violation of the terms set in SLA. Time of unplanned idle times of corporate systems (failures) is reduced by 4 times. At the same time the cost of services of a support and maintenance of the mass systems fell more than by 10%.

Stability augmentation of work, speed and convenience of corporate systems should become one of priorities of work of IT department of Rosatom in 2015. The big effect in the direction of development of systems will give transition to releases. It means that all not urgent completions will be performed not on one now as earlier, and groups.

What completions will be included into release, will define including change requests initiators. The state corporation calculates that thanks to such approach the urgent completions, for example, connected with the legislation, will be executed much quicker.

According to Anastasia Chistyakova, upon completion of the program of transformation of IT, most likely, the main focus of IT strategy of state corporation will move to the systems of design designing and production systems.

2013

Rosatom is going to become provider of cloud services

Rosatom considers the possibility of providing free computing powers of the supercomputer located in the Sarov nuclear center (VNIIEF) and the application software for mathematical modeling to third parties as a cloud service, TAdviser Evgeny Charkin, the director of the department of information technologies of Rosatom told on April 30, 2013.

The supercomputer about which there is a speech was developed by specialists of the Nuclear center and brought into operation in 2011. A system does not appear in supercomputer ratings, however it is known that it has petaFLOPS performance level (it is capable to execute over one quadrillion operations per second) and is one of the most powerful in the country.

Within the program of Rosatom for development of supercomputer technologies in VNIIEF packets of the application software were also developed for industrial modeling which were delivered afterwards to the Russian industrial organizations. Among its users there are "KamAZ" and Sukhoi Design Bureau.

According to Evgeny Charkin, the main users of the Sarov supercomputer are now the scientific and design institutes which are a part of Rosatom which use a system, mainly, for problems of design and simulation modeling.

Providing machine time and software in lease on cloud model third parties in Rosatom were approached because a number of the organizations from the machine-building and power industries expressed interest in it, Evgeny Charkin explains.

"Now we conduct negotiations with large providers of communication to provide rather powerful channels for providing such service", - he adds.

It should be noted that free capacities lease to third parties and other owners of large supercomputers in Russia. For example,SUSU which also renders services in accomplishment of modeling on the system for third parties and also TyumGU. From business companies remote access to the high-performance systems and industrial software is provided, for example, by the T-Servisy company which is a part of the developer of supercomputers T-Platforms.

Results of transformation of IT

According to reports of Rosatom, creation and implementation of the uniform automated control system for purchasing activity based on SAP SRM including provided achievement of the overall level of economy for 2013 in the amount of more than 30 billion rubles. The volume of the electronic procurement made using this system grew from 5% in 2008 to 99% in 2013.

Creation and system implementation of Rosatom settlement center provided economic effect of transactions of intra group financing in 2013 in the amount of more than 3 billion rubles due to increase in information transparency and efficiency of acceptance of management decisions.

Active use of a uniform industry electronic document management system (EOSDO) allowed to reduce an average term of approval of protocols and orders by 6 times, provided lack of the lost documents.

In 2013 in the industry the unified resource management systems of the enterprise are brought into commercial operation:

  • a system based on SAP ERP is implemented on five large enterprises of the Fuel division, all in it 13 enterprises work;
  • a system based on 1C ERP is implemented at 20 enterprises of the industry, all in it 60 enterprises work.

In 2013 in Rosatom replication of EOSDO based on Documentum allowing to automate management of organizational and administrative documentation and a contracted work continued. By the end of reporting year a system was unrolled at 47 enterprises with the total number of users about 6640 people, all a system works at 105 enterprises with the total number of users about 33,550 people.

2011: Mysterious supercomputer of Rosatom

For April, 2011 the supercomputer system installed in Rosatom is the most mysterious in Russia. Its peak capacity, according to a source in state corporation, is 1 Pflops, however in the rating of Top-50 it is not registered. The tasks solved on a petaflopsnik also are practically not known.

In addition to the systems of high performance the Federal nuclear center under control of Rosatom in Sarov (VNIIEF) also makes personal supercomputers. In 2010 VNIIEF transferred 15 such systems to eleven Russian industrial enterprises.

Together with the VNIIEF hardware transferred to the enterprises and applied software packages of own development for validation. The nuclear center calculates that over time their software will allow to substitute similar software for computational modeling from foreign producers.

In Rosatom gave collaborations from experimental design bureau of "Sukhoy" in creation of detailed computer models of big dimension for calculation of crash landing with the unissued chassis of the new medium-range Superjet-100 passenger aircraft as an example of use of "personal computers". Besides, Sukhoi uses mini-supercomputers for modeling of break of a blade of the fan of the new turbine jet D30KP "Barge hauler" and aerodynamic calculations of the maneuverable airplane of SU-30MKI in the set conditions of cruiser flight.

On "KamAZ" using the systems of Rosatom modeling of dynamic deformation of construction of the car of maintenance of KAMAZ-43269 at explosive loadings is conducted.

"Atomenergoproekt St. Petersburg" conducts rated researches of strength properties of the body of localization of fusion when thermoloading. Its results are used for justification of security of the NPP in the conditions of the hypothetical severe accident which is followed by a fusion exit out of limits of the body of the nuclear reactor.

2009: Beginning of the program of transformation of IT

Since 2009 IT projects in Rosatom are kept within the program of transformation of the corporate IT platform (The program of transformation of IT). It is directed to unification of IT solutions and standardization of business processes of the enterprises of the industry and includes more than 150 projects. Initially the program was calculated for a period of up to 2014, however afterwards the time frame of its end was specified 2018.
