On March 7, 2017 the IDC analytical company published the report on the Russian market of services of a research of cyberthreats. The three of the largest players controls more than two thirds of market revenue.

According to the experts, in 2016 sales of services in a research of cyberthreats in Russia made $14.17 million that is 23.1% more than rather previous year. The Group-IB company is called the largest supplier. Afterwards Positive Technologies and Kaspersky Lab were located. 70% of the considered market fall to the share of these three companies, note in IDC.

Analysts predict the further growth of the Russian market of services of a research of cyberthreats as the number and complexity of such attacks increases.

Services in a research of cyberthreats — one of the most difficult segments of all information security market. Suppliers of these services are capable to provide protection against the most sophisticated cyberthreats aimed both at Russian and on the international companies practically in all branches of the economy — the senior analyst of the Russian office IDC Denis Maslennikov says. — There are no doubts that similar threats and the attacks in the future will become more and more therefore such services will be extremely demanded. IDC, thus, expects that the Russian market of services in a research of cyberthreats within the next five years will steadily grow.

According to the research prepared by analysts of PwC and published at the end of January, 2017, only 38% of the Russian companies are afraid of cyberthreats. For comparison, in the USA the share of such organizations and enterprises makes 85%. At the same time 83% of the polled heads in Russia agree that cracking of the systems of cyber security will negatively affect trust to business, and three quarters of respondents see threat in use of social networks.
