The largest outsourcers of support of SAP solutions in Russia. Ranking of TAdviser of 2017

The analytical center TAdviser prepared a new ranking "Outsourcing of support of SAP solutions: the largest players in Russia" in which data on the income of the largest service partners of SAP for 2015-2016 from the corresponding services are provided.

The largest outsourcers of support of SAP solutions and their customers

According to a new ranking, EAE-Consult companies (revenue of 833 million rubles), Energodat (748 million rubles) and IBS (420 million rubles) became the largest Russian outsourcers of support of SAP solutions. In the similar ratings of last years these companies were also among leaders.

It should be noted that the new list did not join the insourcing companies, for example, of the ITSC whose only owner since December, 2015 was Gazprom Neft.

The largest growth of revenue among participants of Top-10 is recorded at Saprun Group - 61.3%. The greatest decrease – at the leader of the rating is EAE-Consult companies (-22.4%).

The leader in the number of customers is IBS. In 2016 46 companies became her clients in the field of outsourcing of support of SAP solutions, in 2015 there were 35.

In the large IT landscape companies is difficult and dynamic: there are permanent completions and new implementations. In this situation it is not always possible to organize support of systems by own efforts. How levels of support were built and why the contractor selected Novardis, in an interview of TAdviser Vladimir Korolev, the head of support department of SAP applications of DIT "M.Video" told.

Market estimates in 2016-2017

The Russian outsourcing market of support of SAP shows stable growth in recent years. Positive dynamics is predicted and in the long term the next years.

According to Dmitry Ivitsky, the director of the service center of support of business applications of IBS, in recent years the size of the market of outsourcing of support of SAP steadily grows for 5% a year. At the same time in the company estimate the volume, available to the outsourcing companies, approximately at 10 billion rubles a year.

In the last several years the structure of growth exchanged: if earlier specified growth rates mainly were provided due to new implementations, then now generally growth is caused by an output to outsourcing market of volumes which were in insourcing. In the next years we expect preserving of growth rates with possible increase up to 7-8%, - Dmitry Ivitsky says.

Estimate the total amount of outsourcing market of support of SAP at Saprun Group much more modestly. According to Alexey Akulshin, the head of department of support of the SAP solutions of Saprun Group, it is possible to estimate him at the amount about 2.5-3 billion rubles.

We expect the small growth year by year connected with gradual recovery of the economy of the country, - he adds.

Also Alexander Korol, the head of the service center Molga Consulting holds the similar opinion. According to him, outsourcing of support of SAP in Russia has positive perspectives of development in spite of the fact that consumers of IT services even more often enter this function into a framework of the business. Nevertheless, the volume of this market in recent years shows stable growth and 2016 did not become an exception, he notices.

Natalya Semichastnova, the deputy CEO of Corus Consulting Group, also observes positive dynamics in the Russian outsourcing market of support of SAP at the end of 2016. She notes that it is caused first of all by growth of the IT market and demand for integration solutions.

Today it is not profitable to hold technical specialists of support on each information system installed at the enterprise any more, otherwise the staff in the companies would be huge. Therefore it is quite logical what in the closest years of the loudspeaker will remain, - Natalya Semichastnova says.

Market trends in 2016-2017

The need for outsourcing of support of SAP solutions in the Russian market remains at the high level. In the aspiration to receive big economy, customers even more often look towards complex outsourcing.

In opinion, Dmitry Ivitsky, the director of the service center of support of business applications of IBS, the economic situation in Russia pushes many companies to use outsourcing as the instrument of real cost reduction.

And if earlier we saw that on outsourcing only small tasks and separate functional modules were given, then the trend on increase in requests for complex outsourcing when all problems of operation and development of a complete SAP landscape, and often and the adjacent systems on other platforms are transferred to one contractor is now traced. And such approach allows the customer to receive the maximum economy, - Dmitry Ivitsky explains.

According to Alik Abdullin, the head of representative office of Spinnaker Support in Russia, one of global trends which take place in the USA and EU countries is failure of a part of customers from vendor technical support of the software and transition to alternative providers. According to opinion of Gartner by 2021, the market of alternative technical support of SAP and Oracle will grow by 7 – 10 times.

Contractors, meanwhile, also look for ways for reduction in cost of services.

Alexey Akulshin, the head of department of support of the SAP solutions of Saprun Group company, calls a trend an output of offices of support for borders of Moscow and St. Petersburg for reduction of cost of labor power.

According to him, the market is affected by several pacing factors which are closely bound among themselves. It is the cost of services, service quality and a possibility of satisfaction of all requests of the client (for example, the non-standard mode of support, etc.).

Alexander Korol, the head of the service center MOLGA Consulting, considers that the need for outsourcing of support of SAP remains at the high level that will provide the stable growth of volumes of this service in the near future.

Obvious advantages of services of outsourcing to the consumer on the example of MOLGA Consulting are: access to a broad spectrum of competences of specialists, predictability, flexibility, quality which are provided to SLA with detailed fixing of all parameters of service quality and the financial responsibility, absence at the consumer of considerable charges of own competence of required volume. These factors are prevailing for those consumers who want to develop and not to have non-core service functions, - Alexander Korol says.

Alexander Niznik, the CEO of Novardis, also notes that now there is a tendency that all companies concentrate on the key business. And if earlier, according to him, the companies could not provide that their servers will stand in some unclear place, in some data centers, then now it is absolutely normal situation. The companies begin to understand that they should concentrate on box business (core business), and to give all supporting business services on outsourcing.
