UDP

UDP (User Datagram Protocol is the protocol of the user datagrams) is the transport protocol intended for data movement in IP networks without the organization of connection. It is one of the simplest transport layer protocols of the OSI model which IP identifying is 0x11.

The UDP protocol does not give guarantees that the packet will be delivered with respect thereto the abbreviation of UDP is periodically decrypted so: Unreliable Datagram Protocol is the protocol of unreliable datagrams. Taking into account that as the protocol the delivery guarantee but only ensuring communication between different programs, that structure of heading of the datagram of UDP becomes very simple does not enter. The heading of the datagram of UDP consists of four fields. The structure of the first and second fields includes numbers of UDP ports of the program sender and the program receiver. The third and fourth fields are necessary for management of processing - it is the total length of the datagram and header control sum. The UDP protocol - one of two main protocols, which location directly over IP. To network applications, the using UDP SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol is the simple network management protocol) and NFS belong (Network File System is network file system).
