Information modeling of buildings and constructions
       

Data on the BIM systems which are used in Russia and also unique information on the companies integrators and their BIM projects are provided in tabs below.

We invite the companies to register the systems and projects in TAdviser.

       

According to the concept, solutions on the basis of BIM technologies cover all workflows – from design and construction, before repair and operation of construction objects. All project changes and documentation are conducted in uniform information 3D - space. Among advantages – double acceleration of works, compliance to the quality standards and to security, reducing costs for construction and service and so forth.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is information modeling of buildings and constructions at which the volume 3D model where each object is connected with the information database of the project is created and has the appointed, interdependent attributes. Use of BIM technologies allows to integrate all stages of construction of buildings – from design before commissioning - in one clear and transparent system where each change is recorded and involves other changes. Such approach considerably simplifies joint work over different sections of the project and excludes "unnoticed errors".


In 2016 "The list of instructions according to the results of a meeting of the State Council" in which the President of Russia defined the near-term outlook of development of construction policy of the country was published. This list includes implementation in construction of technologies of information modeling. The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation within "road map" formulated requirements for use of BIM technologies, the document was approved by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak. Also the list of documents which need to be developed or changed was prepared and sent for the approval in the Government of the Russian Federation.

In the ministry use of the OPEN BIM standards and the open IFC format which presumably will be taken as a basis at the state use of BIM is discussed.
