2021: Receipt of a grant in the amount of 28,556,721 rubles from RFRIT

On January 12, 2021, the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT) announced to TAdviser the results of two competitive selections for grants: support for projects for the introduction of domestic IT solutions (PP of the Russian Federation No. 550) and support for projects for the development of domestic software (PP of the Russian Federation No. 1185).

2020: Creation of the "Blockchain Competence Center"

Cometrica (part of IKS Holding) has created a development center using distributed registry technology (blockchain) - the Blockchain Competence Center. The company announced this on July 6, 2020.

The main task of the Center is to unite teams and projects within Kometrika into a general structure, form a single expertise on blockchain, develop the use of existing platforms in various business sectors and government bodies, and train and popularize the use of technology among young specialists.

Our goal was to pull expertise from disparate teams working in projects using blockchain and collect it into a single Center. Together, we will increase efficiency and will be able to achieve great results in introducing technology and building trust business processes based on it in Russia.

At the beginning of July 2020, the structure of the Center includes 15 experts who have seven projects at industrial development, commercial and state organizations are customers. The company's solutions are developed on the basis of popular blockchain platforms:, Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric,, Corda BigchainDB. Cometrica also signed a partnership agreement with the Russian manufacturer of the blockchain platform, Waves Enterprise which will jointly promote the platform for the public and commercial sectors.

Kometrika has been engaged in industrial blockchain projects for more than two years and has experience and expertise in this area. The company is involved in the development of a roadmap for the development of the "end-to-end" digital technology "Distributed Registry Technologies."

Blockchain is one of the main activities of the company, Cometrica is also developing solutions using augmented reality, big data technologies, creates products for Smart Cities and Smart Office, and develops educational platforms. Digital solutions simplify life and business processes, create tools that can change people's habits.

2019: MegaFon sold half of Kometrika to Outpost Holding

In mid-January 2018, the Russian mobile and fixed-line operator MegaFon sold a 50 percent stake in Kometrika to Anton Cherepennikov's Outpost holding. The financial component of the agreement is not disclosed. The remaining 50% of Kometrika was retained by the Cypriot company Cometrika Holdings Limited, which is owned by MegaFon.

Megafon sold 50% of its blockchain company

According to the newspaper Vedomosti, Kometrika was registered in March 2018 at the same address as the central office of Megafon in Moscow. Kometrika will develop products and services related to the blockchain in one way or another , MegaFon  said then. The company is working on solutions that will suit retailers and logistics companies, as well as in the field of jurisprudence and housing and communal services.

In particular, a system is being created that will allow you to monitor whether delivery deadlines have been met, whether the desired temperature was maintained in the refrigerated truck, and, accordingly, automatically impose fines in case of non-compliance with the requirements

Since December 2018, Kometriku has been headed by the top manager of Megafon Dmitry Petrov, who replaced Anna Serebrennikova after her departure  to the parent structure of the operator - USMAlisher Usmanov holding.

Cherepennikov is a partner of Alisher Usmanov. The latter invested $100 million in the e-sports company Virtus.pro founded by Cherepennikov, and also sold 100% of the developer of billing systems Peter Service[1]
