2021: Obtaining a license for educational activities

On August 2, 2021, the National Center for Industrial Design and Innovation 2050.LAB announced that it had received a license to conduct educational activities and began regular work in this direction.

Having experience in developing and launching the master's program "Industrial Design and Engineering" for NITU MISiS, 2050.LAB continues to form the agenda of design education.

The work of the educational block will be generally built in three areas:

  • additional professional programs aimed at improving the skills in the field of industrial design. Specialists in their industry will talk about design-thinking techniques, innovations in the world of materials, innovative approaches in the field of design and on the basis of practical tasks pump the knowledge gained. Course participants will have the opportunity to visit the design studio 2050.LAB and become part of the production process.
  • additional general education programs are aimed at a wide audience and are devoted to such popular topics as automotive , VR/AR in design, as well as cross-disciplinary projects that allow listeners to significantly expand the horizon of understanding the essence of the creative process in creative industries. Courses will be interesting to those who want to learn more about how design changes the world for the better.
  • preparation for admission to the master's program "Industrial Design and Engineering" for NITU MISiS.
