2015: Opening of office in Russia

On July 8, 2015 it became known of plans of AIC to open representation in Russia. This step is directed to strengthening of cooperation of the Taiwan producer with the large Russian Internet companies.

According to the informational portal DigiTimes, AIC company will open the Russian office in the third quarter 2015. It becomes to perform supplies of equipment and to render services of support to "Yandex", the acting client of AIC.

AIC will open office in Russia for deliveries of servers to "Yandex" and Mail.ru

Besides, the Taiwan vendor calculates that at the expense of the Russian division it will be able to increase the competitive level in fight for orders from Mail.Ru Group Internet company and social network "VKontakte" under control of it.

Where the Russian office AIC will be opened, it is unknown. At the time of the publication of material in the press service of Taiwanese company could not respond TAdviser to the request to comment on the forthcoming opening of representation in the Russian Federation. In "Yandex" refused to discuss vendor relations.

Arrival of AIC to Russia is connected with recovery of the domestic market of a server and computer hardware which announces DigiTimes with reference to Taiwan vendors. The last received from "Yandex" purchase orders of servers for data centers in the third quarter 2015. Names of suppliers of the Russian company are not specified.

It is noted that stagnation to which the Russian market of the IT equipment got against the background of sanctions policy of the West forced the Taiwan suppliers, such as AIC, to strictly control the supply rate of servers and other hardware solutions to the country to minimize a negative impact of an adverse market situation.
