History
2018: Acquisition by Acronis company
The Acronis company specializing in area of cyber defense and hybrid cloud storages announced on August 1, 2018 strategic acquisition of the Bulgarian company T-Soft specializing in software development and expansion research (R&D) activity in Europe. Transaction amount does not reveal.
Besides, Acronis announced that its subsidiary company located in Sofia will replace the name with Acronis Bulgaria and will be merged into T-Soft. Process of consolidation of two companies already began. Plamen Toshev holding CEO T-Soft post after acquisition headed division of Acronis Bulgaria.
As noted, the transaction became result of partnership between two companies. T-Soft as the partner of Acronis provided services in software development since 2012, working on quality improvement of products and efficiency of project teams of Acronis.

Acronis is going to expand staff of the research center in Bulgaria to 300 engineers, having invested $50 million within the next three years to create a key research and development center in Europe which will be completely focused on developments in the field of cyber defense. As envisioned by the company, the technologies developed in Sofia will allow to optimize the innovative solutions of Acronis providing protection of all data, applications and systems.
Acronis Bulgaria will continue development of technologies of synchronization and file sharing of Acronis, the significant contribution to which development the T-Soft command made in previous years, noted in the company. Besides, in Bulgaria it is going to create groups of web development and quality control of Acronis.
The company is also going to cooperate with the local universities and other educational institutions to promote quality improvement of preparation of the IT personnel.
2005: Formation of T-Soft
T-Soft is the service company working in the field of the software — it was founded in 2005 in the city Sofia (Bulgaria), and since then the company provided services in the manual and automated software testing, helping the clients to increase quality of their software products and systems at decrease in the overall level of costs.
As natural addition to already available know-how found in testing process services of software development, technical support and preparation of technical documentation were also added to a portfolio of services of the company.
