Since 2016 in the Aktyubinsk region the multi-profile hospital complex "Aktyubinsk Medical Center" (AMC) – the medical and diagnostic organization, largest in the region, functions. It is planned that AMTs will become a core of a medical cluster. By May, 2018 already were its part:

  • multi-profile hospital for adults,
  • children's hospital and
  • consulting and diagnostic center.

2018: The plan of the beginning of construction of three objects and investments to 15 billion tenges

Within PPP in 2018 in Aktobe construction of three large medical objects in the Aktyubinsk medical cluster should begin. All of them should be constructed within the public-private partnership (PPP) on funds from investors. The head of regional Management of health care Aset Kaliyev told about it during the press conference in regional service of communications.

So, together with hospital of Seoul National University the project on construction of complex diagnostic Check - up - the center worth about 5 billion tenges is implemented. The contract on construction in Aktobe of this center at the beginning of March, 2018 was signed by the akim of the Aktyubinsk Berdybek Saparbayev region and the vice president of hospital of Seoul National University professor Kwang Vung Li.

"In Check - up - the center will become possible to diagnose practically any diseases. All narrow specialists will work there. The project is developed together with South Korean specialists. It completely corresponds to the similar project implemented in South Korea and will become the first of this sort in Kazakhstan. An object within eight years will be in shared control with the South Korean side. Doctors from South Korea will accept the first five years of patients", – told Aset Kaliyev.

One more project which cost is estimated previously at 5.5 billion tenges, – the Center of nuclear medicine. At the end of August, 2017 Berdybek Saparbayev and the regional manager on sales and business development of GE Healthcare company in Russia and the CIS countries Levan Bakanidze signed the memorandum of understanding. According to the document, the investor will perform a full stroke of works, from design and equipping by the high-precision diagnostic equipment before service support and training of medical personnel in work with the modern equipment.

Also construction of the children's oncohematological center worth 4.3 billion tenges is planned. In the Center of haemato-oncology complex diagnosis of oncohematological diseases will be carried out: the analysis of marrow, a cytologic research of cerebrospinal fluid, carrying out flowing cytometry[1].
