In February, 2010 the company came to turnover in $100,000 a day. Revenue for the first half of the year 2010 made about 17 million US dollars.

According to own data of Anywayanyday, their website is 50,000 visits daily (March, 2010).

2009

In 2009 the company implemented tickets for 15 million US dollars.

Business model

The principles of work at all booking agencies are identical as on the Internet, and offline. Sellers receive the lion share of air tickets from the systems of global distribution (GDS - Global Distribution System). The GDS airline places information on runs and places. The more such systems traces the agency, the it is more at the client the probability to find that it is necessary for it.

Possibilities of the platform

Service automatically consolidates all available offers from more than 500 regular airlines and more than 40 discounters worldwide. Existence of places is checked in real time, and purchase of the ticket is performed for three clicks. The buyer can select different options on time, airport of departure and an arrival, to rates and so forth. Developers, analysts, different booking systems specialists and natives of airlines worked year on creation of own software platform. "That to create it, it is necessary to see all business through, - Pyotr Kutis says. - Where the ticket and where this ticket leaves to the buyer what are distribution chains why so it turns out that the standard agency, selling tickets online, in 10% of cases cannot sell then this ticket begins "be born". In a system there are a lot of cunnings. She "understands" where she identical runs, watches the prices of different products, issues existence of places. Besides, estimates what ticket it is more profitable to sell to us because we can find two tickets at the same price, but in one of them at us the commission of 5%, as at the agency "lies" inside. Besides, it is necessary to be able to organize the business processes allowing to make the ticket[1] are cheaper"].

History

2008

Anywayanyday became the receiver of the website Avantix.ru (Travel City-Avia LLC) which went bankrupt during the economic crisis at the end of 2008. Avantix acted as the agent more than 45 airlines. One of the reasons of bankruptcy was that the Travel of City-Avia company could not prolong overdrafts - the short credits to which almost all sales agents of tickets resorted, especially during the work with corporate clients. At the same time business users buy up to 30% of air tickets in Russia. Payment by installments of payments made 15-45 days, and airlines required payment in 10-14 days. Therefore overdrafts were also required for the agencies. In crisis interest rates increased. Besides, clients delayed settlings with the agencies, subagents were closed, there were mass returns. Airlines, without having received money in time, disconnected the agencies from the network of armoring. Aeroflot, for example, deprived of access to the system Sobi concern and the company of Talariya. But bankruptcy of such large player as Avantix, "sounded" in the market especially loudly.

Having gone bankrupt, the project did not disappear completely. In May, 2009 the website Anywayanyday.com which since August the 2008th worked in the test mode officially opened. The chairman of the board of directors and the co-owner of the company - the head and the founder of the grain Valars Holding Ltd trader Kirill Podolsky. Earlier he directed grain company "Yugtranzitservice" which possessed Avantix. Having left Yugtranzitservice in 2007 because of the conflict with other shareholders, Podolsky did not forget about booking business and created the competitor of Avantix - the international Anywayanyday (AWAD) project. In the same time at Avantix financial problems began. A part of employees of the "dying" company passed into AWAD. Morqua company which created Avantix earlier was engaged in engineering development of the portal. Her CEO Pyotr Kutis became the head of Anywayanyday. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent for start of AWAD, and already by the end of 2009 the company reached profitability. In AWAD considered bitter experience of Avantix and work with corporate clients according to the scheme of a deposit which includes the cost of tickets and a service charge[1].

2010

In July, 2010 Tiger Global Management announced the transaction on acquisition of 40% of the stocks anywayanyday.com. According to Vedomosti, the cost of a share was about 10 million dollars.

The president of FINAM Vlad Kochetkov concerning the price of the company made the following observation: "Depending on the size of the commission of airlines, the cost of AWAD can be 2.5-3 commission full-year income. For the western analogs this multiplicator makes 1.8-2.2 revenues from sales, but the potential of the Russian market should assume a certain award".

It should be noted that Tiger Global Management is one of shareholders of "Yandex" where the partner implementing air tickets on Yandex.schedules is other company, Agent.ru. It is possible to expect change of the data provider with "Yandex.schedules" that will allow Tiger Global Management to increase Anywayanyday turnover.

2015: The prosecutor's office will check Aviasales according to the statement of Anywayanyday

The tourist online agency Anywayanyday appealed to the prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg with a request for conducting check upon illegal use of trademarks

In the middle of the summer of 2015 the owner of the website anywayanyday.com Anywayanyday sent the official letter to the management of aviasales.ru (Aviasales (Jetradar)) in which he demanded to stop illegal use of the trademarks registered on his name according to the Russian and international legislation. The owner detected a number of the websites with the domain names identical or similar to extent of mixing with the anywayanyday trademark. When using these websites presumably there is either a loading of a form of search, or readdressing on the page to a form of search aviasales.ru. The most scandalous example is the website registered in the national domain of Colombia — "anywayanyday.co" which automatically redirects the user on the website of the metasearcher of air tickets.

Representatives of the tourist online agency provided the complete list of domain names which registration they demanded to cancel within 14 days in the letter. Heads of Aviasales ignored the requirement and only called in unofficial correspondence the letter "interesting", "strange" and sent "at the wrong door".

Having received such answer, the owner of anywayanyday.com filed at the beginning of September, 2015 a petition to prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg in which he asked to carry out an inspection upon illegal use of trademarks and to consider the possibility of criminal proceedings concerning the corresponding responsible persons.

The agency received the answer from prosecutor's office in which it is said that the statement was transferred to Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of the Central district of St. Petersburg for conducting check "upon possible illegal acts" from the management of Aviasales.

It should be noted that the similar situation arose in 2013: then representatives of the tourist online agency detected a number of resources with the domain names similar to "anywayanyday.com" when which loading the user was automatically redirected on the websites of competitors Anywayanyday, including aviasales.ru. That time the question was successfully solved through the Center of arbitration proceedings and mediation of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) according to the Uniform procedure of the dispute resolution concerning domain names. As a result the disputable addresses were transferred to the possession of the owner of the anywayanyday trademark.

Evgeny Shukhlin, the CEO of Anywayanyday comments: "We could return once again disputable domain names through the VOIS arbitration center. However it is very important for us that the Russian law enforcement authorities understood this situation and as appropriate estimated Aviasales actions. In spite of the fact that we do not suffer special financial damage from illegal use of our trademarks, fair permission of this case for us — a question of the principle. And if law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation are not able to understand this conflict and to make perpetrators responsible, we will look for such jurisdiction within which to make it it will turn out".
