The Chelyabinsk ERZ performs capital, medium repair and service maintenance of the traction rolling stock and also repair of electrical machines, wheel couples, nodes and units of locomotives, production of spare parts for the rolling stock.

The enterprise repairs and services cargo engines of a direct current of VL10, VL11, VL15 series of all indexes. The plant mastered repair of the rolling stock for mining cuts (PE-2M, OPE-1 and EL21). Also now the plant masters repair of electric locomotives of alternating current of VL80 and 2ES4K Donchak.

ChERZ services the locomotives working at a polygon of the Southern Ural, Kuibyshev, Moscow, October, West Siberian railroads and also traction the rolling stock operated on mining cuts of the Ural region.

2018

Increase in number of workers

The Chelyabinsk elektrovozoremontny plant (ChERZ, is included into Lokotekh group) in February, 2018 announced increase in 2017 in the number of workers on 460 people in comparison with an indicator for 2016. Thus, as of February 8, 2018, at the enterprise over 2900 people work. At the same time in February is going to accept about hundred more people. Creation of new jobs is connected with increase in the production plan of ChERZ which masters the direction of repair of electric locomotives.

The Chelyabinsk ERZ in 2017 increased the staff on 460 workers

Elektromontazhnik-skhemshchik, the mechanic on repair of the rolling stock, the electrician on repair of electrical machines — the main directions in which there is workforce recruiting. The average salary on the plant is more than 40 thousand rubles.

Also in connection with increase in the program of repair since January ChERZ switched over to the round-the-clock operation mode in production divisions. Now at the plant two changes: from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. o'clock and from 7 p.m. till 7 a.m. Earlier the enterprise worked in two changes for eight hours (from 7 a.m. till 4 p.m. and from 4 p.m. till 0:00 a.m., without night shift).

Plans for release of sections of electric locomotives from repair

So, in 2018 the plant is going to release from repair of 290 sections of electric locomotives of VL80 against 64 the previous year. It requires other concept of production organization, re-equipment of workshops, increase in number of working, considerable finance costs and investments.

2017: Development of the direction of repair of electric locomotives

Many years repair of cargo engines of a direct current of VL10, VL11, VL15 series was the main direction of production on ChERZ. From the second half of the year 2017 the plant started mastering of repair of electric locomotives of alternating current of VL80 and direct current 2ES4K Donchak.
