2016: Purchase by Axis Communications company

The Axis Communications company specializing in area of network video surveillance announced in February, 2016 acquisition of Citilog company, the supplier of intelligent solutions for video monitoring in real time and safety of traffic and transportations.

For February, 2016 Citilog is the private company numbering 30 employees with the headquarters in Paris (France) and representations in the USA, Hong Kong and Spain. The company offers a complex of means of the analysis of video and sensors for monitoring of traffic flows, including for automatic detection of incidents, collection of data on traffic and management of intersections. According to representatives of Axis, products of the company allow to increase security on roads, to reduce risks and to increase motion speed.

The products Citilog for the profound analysis of video and video surveillance allow to detect in real time road accident and difficulties of traffic, helping command centers to manage traffic traffic flows and quicker to react to incidents. Besides, Citilog proposes solutions for the profound analysis of statistics of traffic flows and also for control of traffic lights and the movement at intersections. Products of the company are used for monitoring of highways, tunnels, bridges and other infrastructure facilities and also for management of traffic in the cities.
