2011

In May, 2011 Crossbeam and "Russian Corporation of Means of Communication" (RCMC) announced creation of joint venture for production and promotion in the markets of Russia and other CIS countries of solutions on network security. Crossbeam Systems gives engineering support of Crossbeam RT. For example, engineers of S-Terra CSP group, developing the new version of one of solutions, flew to the USA, to Crossbeam Systems development center where "ground" new functionality. At the same time investments into Crossbeam RT especially Russian, i.e. Crossbeam Systems does not participate in them.[1] Assembly of the equipment is conducted at several enterprises of Rostekhnologii state corporation which part also Russian Telecom Equipment Company is. Production allows to produce about 100 units of solutions a week.

All hardware architecture of the Crossbeam RT platforms is developed by the American partners from Crossbeam Systems, they have historically very close relationship with Intel. After in 2010 the Intel corporation purchased one of the largest developers of antiviruses – McAfee company, – its cooperation with Crossbeam RT became stronger even stronger. In particular, in September, 2012 Crossbeam RT and McAfee brought to the Russian market the new solution for protection of networks of the state organizations, enterprises of critical infrastructure and telecom operators combining the network McAfee Firewall Enterprise screen and family of platforms of network security a X-series from Crossbeam RT. This solution provides inspection of applied traffic at a speed up to 40 Gbps.
