DataFox — the American solutions AI developer founded in 2013 and systems for data management. First of all, the company is known on creation of the engine using artificial intelligence which automatically finds and draws required up-to-date data which store public and private companies. By October, 2018 more than 2.8 million organizations are connected to this engine, and for previous year 1.2 million clients were added.

Goldman Sachs, Bain & Company and Twilio are among clients of DataFox who use the platform for management of accounts, involvement of potential clients and maintenance of the current customer relations.

For four rounds of financing which took place from the moment of foundation of DataFox till October, 2018 the company attracted in total $11.8 million.

History

2018: Oracle purchased DataFox

On October 22, 2018 the American producer of the corporate software Oracle announced merger of DataFox. Financial and other terms of transaction of the company decided not to open.

In the press release it is reported that DataFox technologies will be integrated with cloud applicaions, having provided to clients "an extensive data set and signals of the corporate level thanks to what clients will be able to make better decisions and to achieve results in business".[1]

Oracle purchased DataFox company to add more artificial intelligence to cloud services

According to the executive vice president for application development of Oracle Steve of Miranda (Steve Miranda), thanks to merger of DataFox cloud services of Oracle, including ERP CX, HCM and SCM, "will be enriched with corporate data with use artificial intelligence" and will offer powerful recommendations for increase in business performance.

As notes the TechCrunch edition, the transaction shows that large suppliers of platforms look for AI tools for customer service improvement.
