2018: Oracle purchased DataScience.com

On May 16, 2018 the American producer of the corporate software Oracle announced absorption of DataScience.com. The financial component of the transaction was decided not to be opened.

Sale of DataScience.com will change in activity of the company little — at least, in the nearest future after the transaction. The startup will offer further partners the same products and services. However Oracle is going to integrate tools of the purchased firm with the service for creation of cloud infrastructure therefore the unified solution for machine learning will be received. At first Oracle will study the development plan of the products DataScience.com and will issue recommendations for clients.

Oracle, referring to researches of Deloitte, reports that that by 2021 the companies will spend more than $57.6 billion for machine learning against $12 billion in the 2017th.[1]
