• Double-Take Availability for Linux of version 4.6 is the solution for continuous and security blanket of servers providing availability of applications to users of the Linux systems excepting the high cost and complexity of the hardware systems of replication
• Double-Take Backup of version 5.2 is the solution allowing to protect continuously work of employees at remote office from failures of the equipment and to quickly recover workflow, thanks to a possibility of recovery on new hardware platforms or virtual machines with the minimum efforts.
• Double-Take Availability of version 5.2 is the solution adding new features for application monitoring, expanded protection of an environment of Microsoft SQL and representing a new method of resynchronization of the protected data.

In November the first service pack for the products Double-Take from the moment of Double-Take Software acquisition by company Vision Solutions, Inc. which finally came to the end in July, 2010 is released.

The products Double-Take support VMware vSphere 4.1 for carrying out an automatic provizioning of virtual machines now. Users can automatically select use of dynamic or physical disks for virtual servers with an automatic provizioning that allows to select also automatically the necessary type of disks for performance improvement of virtual machines. Such opportunity is available both to VMware vSphere, and to Microsoft Hyper-V.

The updated solutions Double-Take began to support the vSphere Distributed Virtual Switch function (DVS) that gives the chance to users of DVS to implement the simplified process of work of the virtual systems in network and to get all advantages of DVS, at the same time protecting virtual machines at the expense of the products Double-Take.

When virtual disks are created within process of an automatic provizioning, solutions of Double-Take provide alignment of capacity of sections on 64K for improvement of characteristics of input-output. This possibility of Double-Take is available both to vSphere, and to Hyper-V.
