The consulting company BearingPoint purchased a controlling stake (51%) of actions of the system developer of a business intelligence of HyperCube, the American company Effiscience. Transaction amount does not reveal.

The founder of Effiscience (in the market since 2005) is Augustine Hareth who throughout the last years was at the same time the CEO and the chairman of the board of directors of the company.

According to official data, Effiscience works as division of BearingPoint since January 23, 2012. In appropriate section of the website of BearingPoint Hareth is provided as the CEO of HyperCube. So, obviously, it managed to save the position and, perhaps, a share block of the company. Also Nicholas Levileyn who on the website of BearingPoint is designated as the director of the European transactions HyperCube [[Lewilejn Nicholas|]] saved the position held earlier.

The analytical HyperCube system is intended for processing of data bulks (big data) for the purpose of risk control on all chain of formation of cost. Consumers of HyperCube technology – the financial sector, insurance companies, retail and health care. In an asset of effiScience more than 170 clients, generally in Europe. Konstantin Popov, the partner of BearingPoint, said that acquisition of a controlling stake will open possibilities of use of HyperCube for the Russian clients of the company. "The Russian practice of BearingPoint together with the European colleagues in the nearest future is going to propose the solutions on the basis of HyperCube adapted to the most critical requests of business in Russia for a broad spectrum of industrial segments", - he added.

Acquisition of this software product will add the product portfolio and solutions of BearingPoint including the systems of preparation of the reporting of ABACUS and a line of solutions of Infonova company.
