2018: Varian buys Evinance Innovation

On February 22, 2018 Varian Medical Systems, one of the largest developers of diagnostic and therapeutic solutions in the field of oncology, announced acquisition of Evinance Innovation private company.

Varian considers that it can use achievements of the company in work on platform 360 Oncology controlling workflow by integration of decision making support systems and tracking of commitment of oncological patients to separate types of therapy.

Varian purchased the developer of the systems of adoption of medical solutions

The platform of support of adoption of medical solutions Evinance is intended for quality improvement of medical care. She provides to doctors access to the latest clinical information with accurate evidential base and at the same time helps patients to accustom with a situation, new to them. Varian integrates Evinance into platform 360 Oncology to provide treatment of the patient according to the recommendations of National network of multi-profile oncological organizations (NCCN).

This acquisition will become the last step in the long-term strategy of Varian aiming at world leadership in the field of the multi-profile integrated technologies of cancer therapy.
