Performance Indicators

The French fashion house Hermes International in 2016 increased net profit by 13% to €1.1 billion, despite deterioration in a situation in the market of luxury goods. Operating profit of Hermes on the continuing transactions grew by 10% to €1.7 billion. Profitability on operating profit increased from 31.8% to 32.6%.

Hermes revenue in 2016 increased by 7.5% and made €5.2 billion.

Sales in the Japanese shops Hermes grew by 21%, in Asia without Japan - for 5%. Revenue of firm in the countries of North and South America increased by 6%, in Europe - for 8%, including in France - for 5%.

In a segment of leather accessories to which share about a half of revenue of Hermes falls sales jumped by 14%.

Sales of ready-to-wear clothes and accessories (about a quarter of revenue) in 2016 almost did not change. Sales of perfumery products grew by 8.5%. Meanwhile, sales of textiles and silk products decreased by 1%, hours - for 3%.

Stocks of the company rose in 2016 37%.
