Huawei Training center

In 2001 in Huawei Training Center only four teachers worked, and two educational laboratories with several sets of the equipment of the fixed and mobile communication were unrolled. For the end of 2011 in the center there are more than 15 computer educational classes, about 70 units of the different telecommunication equipment are set, the team of 30 highly professional teachers providing training at the Russian and English languages is collected. From the moment of opening of training center based on MTUCI in it more than 15,000 specialists improved the skills already.

Huawei traditionally pays much attention to educational programs. The company constantly expands cooperation with educational institutions. This year Huawei organized the intellectual competitions for students of MTUCI dated for the 10 anniversary of Training center and the 90 anniversary of the University. Students of older years competed among themselves in knowledge of the general principles of modern telecommunication standards and technologies. Competitions were held in three directions: "Networks of wireless communication", "Data networks", "Networks of fiber optic communication". Nine winners (on three in each direction) won several prizes at once - a trip to China (first prize), cash bonuses and an opportunity to undergo free training in the Moscow Training center Huawei.

The "Special bonus fund of support of the best teachers, graduate students and students of MTUCI" founded by Huawei became other important step on the way of cooperation increase from MTUCI. The program is expected three years, the general size of Fund – 99,000 dollars. Students of older years, graduate students and teachers of MTUCI can apply for receiving special grants from Huawei. Annually 15 best students will get awards in the amount of 700 dollars (in a ruble equivalent), 5 best graduate students – on 1500 dollars, 10 best teachers – on 1500 dollars.

The rector of MTUCI, the Dr.Sci.Tech. prof. Artem Sergeyevich Adzhemov emphasized: "Our cooperation with Huawei company for already many years helps to provide telecom industry of Russia by qualified personnel that has the most positive impact on its development".
