Institute of technical education of Singapore (ITE, Institute of Technical Education)

ITE is public institution of professional education in Singapore which provides preparation before employment for graduates of high school and also life-long education and training for the working adults. ITE offers training in the qualified professions and diplomas in the field of professional education for the qualified technicians and workers performing support functions in such professions as engineering, accounting, business administration, leaving, medicine, architecture and law.

History

2019: Approval of the plan of creation in Moscow of the Center of prof training and certification of the personnel for the innovation industries

On September 10, 2019 the State Corporation Rostec reported that together with Singapore Institute of technical education (ITE) approved the step-by-step plan of creation in Moscow of the Center of professional training and certification of the personnel for the innovation industries. Specialists of ITE which experience will be used during creation of special organization in Russia will continue to participate in the project within the next three years.

The signatures under the agreement were appended by the CEO of educational services ITE Bruce Poe and the deputy CEO of State Corporation Rostec Nikolay Volobuyev – the head of the interdepartmental working group which was engaged in preparation of the project for implementation.

In the document the basic principles of interaction of the parties, subject of the educational directions and the project implementation plan are defined. Under the terms of the agreement, the Singapore experts will be involved in the project at the first stage – till July, 2022.

We on one step approached implementation of the project, special for Russia, – education center which will train the personnel for high-tech industries of the industry in a close sheaf with the enterprises of the real sector of economy. For Rostec it is a key initiative which will allow to solve one of the diversification main task – training of qualified personnel for the innovation civil production. Are sure that with assistance of our Singapore colleagues we will create the center of world level which graduates will be demanded not only in the region in Moscow, but also it is far beyond its limits,

The created center will receive the advanced professions as graduates of schools, and those who already have experience and wish to increase the level of the professional skill. Among the main directions of training: aircraft and space, additive technologies, radio electronics, information technologies, robotics, etc.

2017: The memorandum with Rostec and the Government of Moscow of cooperation in the field of prof education

The memorandum of cooperation in the field of prof education providing creation of the Center of preparation and certification of the personnel was signed at the end of 2017 between Rostec Government of Moscow, Rossiysko-Singapore business council and ITE. According to arrangements, an operator of the project is the Russian-Singapore business council.
