The Moscow Arbitration Court ruled to recover 2.1 billion rubles in losses of the Interactive Bank from former leaders

The court ruled on the claim of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), which accused the former top managers of the Interactive Bank of forming technical loan debt, paying and accounting for securities without their actual receipt, acquiring illiquid securities. All this, according to the DIA, caused damage to the credit institution.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation agreed with the arrest of the property of the defendants in the amount of claims. Then Geraskin's property and funds in the amount of 979 million rubles were arrested. Dmitry Konokov was arrested more than 683 million rubles, Ekaterina Polonina - more than 31 million rubles, Bukhtiyarov - more than 477 million rubles, Mikhail Bataev - more than 31 million rubles. Other individuals also had property and financial assets seized.

At the same time, in May 2021, the Moscow Arbitration Court terminated proceedings on the DIA claim against Bataev, and later lifted the arrest from his property.[1]

2016

On April 26, 2016, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation revoked the license of the Moscow Interactive Bank. This was reported on the regulator's website. By order of the Central Bank, a temporary administration was appointed in the credit institution[2].

In terms of assets, Interactive Bank ranked 428th in the banking system of the Russian Federation and was a member of the deposit insurance system.

According to the Central Bank, the credit institution pursued a risky credit policy, as a result of which the bank was on the verge of bankruptcy. At the same time, she was involved in dubious, including transit operations.

Since the beginning of 2016, the Central Bank has already revoked licenses from 33 banks, in 2015 - from 93.
