Annual production up to 5 thousand tons of hypochlorite of calcium with the content of active agent not less than 65% is planned. The main consumer of hypochlorite of calcium in Russia (2/3 all consumptions) are the gold mining enterprises of Siberia and the Far East.
Calcium hypochlorite with so high content of active chlorine is not manufactured in Russia, all deliveries are performed from China. The Khimprom company is going to occupy 20% of the Russian market.
Hypochlorite of calcium is used for neutralization of cyanides in the course of gold mining and also for bleaching of vegetable fibers and wood pulp as disinfectant or antiseptics (for water purification), for processing of the sections infected with toxic gases (decontamination process).
Project cost of 364 million rubles, including 254 million rubles can be a loan of Fund of development of the industry. In the project progress it is going to create 40 high-performance jobs.
