Kuibyshev Refinery

Kuibyshev Refinery is located in the Samara region and is a part of the Samara group of oil refineries purchased by Rosneft in May, 2007. Construction of Kuibyshev Refinery began in 1943, and in two years at the plant the first batch of oil was processed. Kuibyshev Refinery endured several stages of upgrade and expansion of production about decades of the work. So in 1970 at the plant the production of high-octane gasoline for the cars made by the Volga Automobile Plant began. In 1997 large-scale reconstruction of the plant was complete: the new complex of primary oil refining was put into operation, production of ethylated gasoline is stopped and also the share of high-octane gasolines considerably grew.
