Metrovagonmash

Since 2005 JSC Metrovagonmash is a part of the Transmashholding group, the company, largest in Russia, in the market of transport mechanical engineering. The enterprises of group release shunting and trunk locomotives, industrial and trunk electric locomotives, cargo and cars, cars of the subway and electric trains, diesel and ship diesels, railroad switches, traction units, carriage casting and other products.

2018: In 8 years Moscow bought 1900 cars for the subway

Since 2010 by March, 2018 all Moscow bought more than 1900 cars from Mytishchi Metrovagonmash.

For March, 2018 the management of Moscow creates development plans for the subway for the next 10 years, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin told during survey of Vladykino electrodepot in March, 2018. In the next three years, Sobyanin told, Moscow will receive more than 1600 new metrovgon Moscow, the mayor told, and the share of modern trains on lines of the subway will exceed 65%^[1].
