Moscow Refinery continues smooth operation and production of fuel for life support of the capital region. At the enterprise necessary security measures for prevention of distribution of COVID-19 are observed. Check points are equipped with highly sensitive automated systems of thermocontrol. Remote thermal imagers provide precise measurement of body temperature. Further the complex will be integrated into an electronic control system of access to the enterprise. In technology premises the bactericidal radiators disinfecting air, and dosers with antiseptics for disinfection of hands are installed. Own health services of MNPZ are in addition equipped with stationary devices for measurement of saturation of blood oxygen that allows to control the state of health of workers more carefully. All implemented solutions will add infrastructure of the enterprise.

The model optimizes network of cable communications and will reduce time for search and fault recovery. More than 70% of the equipment of digital substation, including management systems and diagnostics — the Russian production.

Decrease in electricity consumption, heat and fuel

On March 2, 2020 Gazprom Neft reported that at the end of 2019 its oil refineries — Omsk and Moscow — reduced electricity consumption, is warm also fuels. The beginning of operation of mobile electrotechnical laboratory for assessment of a status of networks

The control system of electric equipment of Moscow Refinery is strengthened by mobile electrotechnical laboratory. On November 22, 2019 reported about it in Moscow Refinery. The complex is equipped with the modern digital equipment for assessment of a status of networks and fault finding, it allows to reduce much runtime of works and in addition to increase their security. Implementation of the technologies directed to reliability augmentation of the equipment — a part of the comprehensive program of development of Moscow Refinery which since 2011 is continued by Gazprom Neft.

Mobile electrotechnical laboratory

The laboratory has high-voltage installation for the automated tests up to 150 kilovolts. It allows to measure parameters of any power electric equipment of Moscow Refinery from low-voltage cable networks to power transformers.

In difference from the previous control method, the complex does not require installation of the dimensional diagnostic equipment on objects by personnel. Digital management model carries out the complex analysis and allows to define precisely the place of damage to electric trunks. The automatic system of grounding and emergency shutdown of laboratory guarantees safety of work. Search time of damages to cable lines is reduced from 3-5 days till several o'clock.

Thanks to the satellite GPS system the laboratory has function of a combination of the local map with routes of passing of electric routes. All information on a line research, including a class of tension and results of measurements, automatically remains. The program makes up to 100,000 measurements for one working session. Results of complex diagnostics in the online mode are processed on site measurements. All devices have the state certification.

Use of mobile laboratory will significantly increase reliability of all system of power supply of Moscow Refinery. This complex gives additional guarantee of smooth operation of installations and exact accomplishment of the production plan for steady supply of the market with fuel, - the CEO of Moscow Refinery Vitaly Zuber noted.

Construction of parking for employees in Kapotnya

On August 29, 2019 Gazprom Neft reported that Moscow Refinery started creation of parking for employees. Along with implementation of city programs for the organization of traffic, construction of the platform will reduce automobile traffic in rush hours and will in addition lower load of area infrastructure. Construction of parking for employees in Kapotnya

The cumulative economic effect of the taken measures of increase in production efficiency — 16.8 billion rubles

Specialists of Moscow Refinery of Gazprom Neft in the first half of the year 2019 executed 18 actions directed to growth of production efficiency. Aggregate economic effect of the performed works was 350 million rubles, oil refineries reported on July 10, 2019 in Moskovsko. Actions on MNPZ take place within the uniform program of increase in production efficiency of oil processing assets of Gazprom Neft.

The actions provided by the plan for 2019 took place on 13 technology objects of Moscow Oil Refinery. The greatest economic effect is gained due to optimization of work of installations of production of diesel fuel. Additional optimization of intershop communications and the direction of raw flows allowed to increase efficiency of installations.

Moscow Refinery consistently works on performance improvement of installations, increase in operational readiness and energy efficiency, reduction of irretrievable losses. In total from 2011 to 2019 within the program of increase in production efficiency on Moscow Refinery more than 300 actions are executed. The cumulative economic effect of the taken measures, by estimates of representatives of the company, was 16.8 billion rubles.

Upgrade of gas distribution station for 1.2 billion rubles

On March 15, 2019 the Gazprom Neft company reported that Moscow Refinery completed the works on upgrade of gas distribution station. The complex allows to make and ship automobile and by rail the liquefied petroleum gases demanded by the market — propane and butane and also to produce mix of gases. The project is implemented within the program of large-scale upgrade of Moscow Refinery which since 2011 is carried out by Gazprom Neft. Investment volume is 1.2 billion rubles.

Within the project the reservoir park of liquefied petroleum gases is also upgraded, the quantity and total amount of tanks up to 3200 CBM are increased. Power of the updated gas distribution station on acceptance and shipment is 256 thousand tons per year.

The gas distribution station provides modern technology which guarantees complete tightness of process of shipment and excludes hit of gases in the atmosphere thanks to the system of catching and vapor return. The installed equipment and the high level of automation increased shipment speed twice. Level of industrial security of an object is in addition increased. Each block is equipped with own emergency protection system, and all station is equipped with modern automated systems of security and fire extinguishing.

Upgrade of gas distribution station gives the chance quickly and eco-friendly to perform shipment of products. Thanks to the installed equipment the enterprise will be able to supply different grades of gases to the market: propane, butane, isobutane, propane - butane mix. It is important to note that all parameters of gas distribution station are calculated taking into account perspective of development of the plant. Future projects of upgrade of Moscow Refinery will allow to increase shipment of the gases used for utility needs. We are ready to it.

Reduction of consumption of heat, fuel and electric power

On March 18, 2019 Gazprom Neft reported that at the end of 2018 own oil refineries — Omsk and Moscow — significantly reduced consumption of heat, fuel and the electric power. Economic effect of accomplishment of energy saving actions was 447.4 million rubles, having exceeded a planned target for 49.7%. Within this program at oil refinery build modern installations, implement automated control systems and control, get rid of technology objects of last generation. The total volume of production of bituminous materials increased on a quarter

On February 15, 2019 Gazprom Neft reported that Moscow Refinery completed the planned works on installation of production of bitumen. Specialists of the enterprise in addition increased reliability and efficiency of installation within preparation for the summer period of road-building works. Bituminous installation of Moscow Refinery is one of the most hi-tech and the largest in Europe on outputs.

In a work progress more than 1.2 thousand meters of pipelines, reservoirs and columns are prepared, reliability of technology process and efficiency of installation is in addition increased. All production processes are completely automated. Installation is equipped with the system of hermetic filling which allows to make shipment according to the most strict ecological requirements. Technologies of Moscow Refinery provide a possibility of simultaneous production and shipment of several grades of bitumens, including the improved quality.

Exact implementation of all actions for upgrade of production of Moscow Refinery provided growth of efficiency of all production chains which part is also installation of production of bitumen. In 2018 it gave record levels: the total volume of production of bituminous materials increased on a quarter, in comparison with results of 2017. Thanks to eco-friendly technologies, further, the enterprise will increase development of quality fuel and oil products.

Reduction of consumption of a river water more than for 70%

On February 8, 2019 Moscow Refinery of Gazprom Neft reported that it achieved good result in saving of water resources for the first year of work of biological treatment facilities Biosphere. The complex reached design capacity and provides almost closed loop of water consumption. Thanks to Biosphere in 2018 Moscow Refinery more than reduced consumption of a river water by 70% and also significantly reduced load of city treatment facilities.

"Biosphere" of Moscow Refinery

"Biosphere" is developed by the Russian company and provides complex technology of sewage treatment, special for domestic oil processing, to 99.9%. Modern methods guarantee complete removal of all pollutants. All reservoirs of the Biosphere complex are absolutely hermetic, off gases undergo special cleaning using effective plasma and catalytic technology. Before an exit air is in addition purified on filters and disinfected by ultra-violet light. For February, 2019 the Biosphere complex conditions about 17 thousand m3 waters in day and, having double power reserve, is ready to input of additional objects according to the program of upgrade of MNPZ.

The projects similar to Biosphere allow Moscow Refinery to save the leading positions in a question of upgrade of the industrial sector of the capital. The complex became a reliable part of city infrastructure and allowed to lower many times load of capital treatment facilities.

Down the river from Volgodonsk the column of vacuum distillation is delivered

On June 17, 2017 the cargo barge down the river delivers the Russian large-size equipment for building of the combined Euro + installation of Moscow Refinery. The column of vacuum distillation made in Volgodonsk by AEM-tekhnologii company (enters into Atomenergomash — a machine-building division of Rosatom State Corporation), will become a part of the block of primary oil refining. In a vacuum column there is separation of the fuel oil which remained after atmospheric distillation. The vacuum in the device allows to warm fuel oil up to the necessary temperature and to provide its clear split into components — raw materials for further fuel production and bitumen. The new device will provide production of components of fuel of high ecological class Euro-5 and modern bitumen.

The column, unique on weight and dimensional characteristics, is delivered across Volga-Don Canal. In total in the river way the equipment weighing more than 500 tons passed 2500 kilometers. For transportation optimization the column is delivered by in the unassembled form, enlarged assemblies in number of seven modules. The delivered modules placed on the special mooring in Conversations situated near Moscow from where on the building site "Euros +" will transport them cargo tractors.

The Euro + installation is intended for primary oil refining and production of components of fuels of high ecological class Euro-5. Construction of a new complex will allow MNPZ to take several installations of the previous generation out of service and to increase a between-repairs run from two to four years that will provide additional stability of the fuel market of the capital region.

Start of the Center of monitoring and diagnostics of automation systems of production management

In June, 2017 on Moscow Refinery of Gazprom Neft there began work the Center of monitoring and diagnostics of automation systems of production management (TsMiD). Using a modern hardware and software system the new center round the clock controls a status and work of all elements of management systems for the plant. Collected information allows to predict and reveal factors which are potentially capable to result in fault of the equipment at an early stage and to prevent deviations.

Creation of the center became the next stage of the comprehensive program of automation of processing and sale of Gazprom Neft. The company opened the first center of monitoring and diagnostics on Omsk Refinery in 2015. The project of Gazprom Neft has no analogs in Russia and represents the unique complete solution on the round-the-clock and continuous control and diagnostics of a status of technology equipment of oil processing company assets.

Monitoring acts on all levels of automation of Moscow Refinery: are connected to the Center as field instrumentations and software packages of management systems, and virtual analyzers of advanced process management systems of oil processing. Continuous remote observation allows to reveal the non-optimal modes of operation of the equipment and to adjust them. Besides, the round-the-clock and continuous monitoring gives an opportunity to create the diagram of service of technology objects proceeding from their actual state and also promotes reduction of quantity and duration of regular maintenance inspections.

At the first stage of implementation the perimeter of the Center already includes management systems of key installations of secondary processing of MNPZ. Data of Moscow Refinery are in real time available to specialists of Command center efficiency of processing and the sale of Gazprom Neft located in St. Petersburg. At this time TsMiD MNPZ controls work of 25 PCS systems and more than 1.2 thousand instrumentations. By the end of 2018 all technology objects of Moscow Oil Refinery should be connected to the Center.

Testing of automatic system of security

In May, 2017 on Moscow Refinery balancing and commissioning after completion of planned actions for upgrade of installations of catalytic cracking and primary oil refining and also to standard repair of installations of "a big technology ring" is continued. On May 14 at 9:30 a.m. installation of receiving sulfur of Moscow Refinery was stopped during testing of automatic system of security. A system worked regularly, non-staff situations were not. Installation will be started according to production schedules.

The configuration of process systems of the plant used at the moment provides accomplishment of the approved production program on release of products.

Objective data of an end-to-end system of environmental monitoring of MNPZ confirm lack of exceeding on emissions of pollutants on objects of the plant.

On the platform of Moscow Refinery there are works within the program of upgrade of the enterprise. As a result of the performed works the power of the installation of catalytic cracking (G-43-107) intended for production of components of high-octane gasolines of environmental standard Euro-5 will increase by 20 percent. The efficiency of a key object of the plant — installation of primary oil refining (ELOU-AVT-6) providing preparation of raw materials for further production of commodity oil products will increase by 16 percentage points. The energy efficiency of Moscow Oil Refinery will in addition increase and impact on the environment will be reduced.

Installation of a column of reforming for oil refining installation "Euro +"

On Moscow Refinery installation of a crucial element of the block of catalytic reforming of the combined oil refining installation "Euro +" came to the end. The set reforming column — the process of secondary oil refining providing production of components for high-octane gasolines — weighs 150 tons, its height is 60 meters.

The new column consists of four reactionary devices located one above another where from installations of primary oil refining the petrol fraction for interaction with the catalyst will arrive. Thanks to modern technology of continuous regeneration process of recovery of activity of the catalyst will happen without stopping the equipment. It will allow to increase efficiency of production in addition. Power of the block of catalytic reforming on raw materials will be 1 million tons per year.

The technology of continuous catalyst regeneration provides its circulation between a column of reforming and the block of regeneration for recovery of properties without stopping of production. The catalyst — porous granules with a diameter of 1-2 mm — is loaded into an upper part colons and passes through it, constantly interacting with raw materials. From the lower part colons the fulfilled catalyst goes to the block of regeneration where recovers the properties and again comes to an upper part reforming colons.

Building of the Euro + installation began in 2016, for May, 2017 20% of works are performed. Are submerged in soil of 11.6 thousand piles. 24 thousand cubic meters of concrete — 75% of total amount are filled in. 9 thousand tons of metalwork are delivered to the plant. 22 of 31 units of the large-size equipment are set. The general contractor on construction "Euro +" is NIPIGAZ conducting the Russian center for design management, deliveries and construction.

Building of the modern combined oil refining installation "Euro +" — one of the main projects of the second stage of complex upgrade of MNPZ which since 2011 is conducted by Gazprom Neft company. Commissioning "Euro +" will allow Moscow Refinery to raise the output of light oil products, to pass to the increased four-year between-repairs run, to improve indicators of energy efficiency and in addition to reduce impact of production by the environment.
