On May 9, 2012 the NComputing company provided family of the high-performance thin clients developed especially for virtual environments of Citrix Systems – the famous player in the market of VDI solutions. The systems of series N are constructed based on SoC (System-On-Chip) of third generation of Numo 3, have the developed multimedia potential and less than 5 W of power consume. They are compatible to Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp and Citrix VDI-in-a-Box (the former Kaviza).

At the moment it is about two corporate desktop N400 and N500 models with support of Full HD resolution which differ in performance and functionality. The Praysovy cost of the first is only $129, the second – $199. According to the chief executive of NComputing Raj Raj Dhingra, in large projects will discounts are provided, as a result, one workplace with the thin client can cost cheaper $100.

The graphics accelerator of NComputing N400 provides hardware acceleration of video up to permission 1920х1080, this thin client supports a rendenring of multimedia video content in quality 720r on server side and supports port 10/100 Ethernet.

The senior NComputing N500 model copes with rendering of video in quality 1080r by own forces and is equipped with port 10/100/1000 Ethernet. The possibility of wireless connection on Wi-Fi and works along with two monitors is optionally provided. Both devices contain card readers and USB 2.0 ports for connection of the various periphery.

Deployment and the subsequent management of many hundreds of thin clients in the geographically distributed organizations is intended to simplify software of NComputing vSpace Management Center.

While thin clients of NComputing are at a stage of beta testing, deliveries of commercial versions will begin in the second quarter.
