Types of activity

For July, 2019 core activities of the enterprise are:

• research and development in the field of creation of optical-electronic devices of navigation systems and stabilization of spacecrafts, creation of land devices of autonomous use of orbital navigation systems;
• production and service in operation of optical-electronic devices of navigation systems and stabilization of spacecrafts;
• production of land devices of autonomous use of orbital navigation systems GLONASS GPS Galileo;
• development of design documentation and production of the difficult form-building instrumental equipment (compression molds, stamps).

On the main activities for years of the existence JSC NPP KP Kvant mastered more than 20 names of optical-electronic instruments of orientation of spacecrafts on the ground, to the Sun and the Pole star.

The nonbasic (conversion) areas of work are:

• development of design documentation and production of lighting instruments based on superbright LEDs (office, street, industrial lamps, LED searchlights, lamps for housing and public utilities);
• development and production of electronic instruments for transmission systems, collecting, control and data analysis in the field of accounting of energy carriers (creation of a complex of industrial and household telemetry for accounting items of gas, electricity, water, development of the corresponding software is warm using wireless non-volatile communication channels and also);
• accomplishment of developmental works and preparation for serial release of the electronic tachograph for vehicles conforming to requirements of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation;
• accomplishment of developmental works and preparation for serial release of a mobile multifunction hardware-software complex of long cardiomonitoring and ergometry.

History

2019

On the main activities for years of the existence JSC NPP KP Kvant mastered more than 20 names of optical-electronic instruments of orientation of spacecrafts on the ground, to the Sun and the Pole star.

2009

Since 2009 JSC NPP KP Kvant Is a Part of the Integrated Structure based on JSC Informatsionnye Sputnikovye Sistemy of a Name of the Academician M.F. Reshetnev.

1994: Conversion to open joint stock company

In 1994 the enterprise is transformed to open joint stock company.

1980: Conversion to the Kvant plant

In 1980 it is transformed to the Kvant plant which core activity was production of optical-electronic devices of orientation and astronavigation of spacecrafts.

1979: Organization of Scientific Production Enterprise

JSC NPP KP Kvant is founded by the order of the Ministry of defense industry of the USSR No 308 of August 10, 1979 as the Rostov branch of the Azov optical-mechanical plant.
