Remote Diagnostic Technologies (RDT) is the producer of the medical equipment specializing in development, production and sale of devices for remote monitoring and resuscitation which are applied by pre-hospital and emergency services of the USA and Europe. The company was founded in Great Britain in 1997 and services the international customer base. The staff of RDT by June, 2018 makes about 100 people.

History

2018: Philips Healthcare purchased RDT

On June 13, 2018 the Philips Healthcare company announced acquisition of RDT company. The line of the complex equipment of RDT for rendering emergency medical service, including for primary stabilization of patients, assistance on site of incident and transportation in medical institution, will complement the range of goods of Philips Therapeutical Care and will strengthen its leading positions in the market of resuscitation and the emergency help, said in the press release. Financial parts of the transaction are not disclosed.

Philips aims to invest means in developers of the equipment for resuscitation and emergency medical service, and acquisition of RDT will expand possibilities of the company, the head of therapeutic division of Philips Arman Voskerchyan notes. Using RDT the Philips company intends to concentrate attention on the market of the dobolnichny help and to expand a range of the technologies represented to clients.

Philips purchased equipment manufacturer for ambulance

In a product portfolio of Philips a number of devices and software solutions for the remote monitoring and treatment designed to help the emergency health services, hospitals and patients and also to accelerate first aid on site of incident is provided. Among goods of the Dutch producer there are automatic external defibrillators (AED), monitors for advanced life support systems and the software for work with the data obtained when monitoring. 

RDT will complement this range devices for fast and emergency medical care, including Tempus ALS. This defibrillator supplied with the monitor has expanded functionality and at the same time - the compact, easy and flexible body. Besides, RDT offers monitors which are capable to transfer information to different abnormal services.[1]
