The Rostov NPP is Rosenergoatom Concern branch of JSC. It is the most southern of the Russian nuclear power plants. It is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir in 13.5 km from the city of Volgodonsk. The station provides about 50% of electricity generation in the Rostov region.
