SO UES branch of JSC "Interconnected dispatching office of power supply system of the Center" (ODU of the Center) provides reliable functioning and development of UES of Russia within an operational zone of the Center which includes regions: Belgorod, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Kursk, Oryol, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions and also Moscow and Moscow region. The operational zone of branch occupies the territory of 1,031.3 thousand sq.km in which 46.2 million people live. In management and maintaining ODU of the Center as of January 1, 2015 there are 143 5 MW power plants and above. The total installed capacity as of January 1, 2015 is equal to 52911.72 MW, the extent of transmission lines of 110-750 kV is 84,998 km.

Performance Indicators

2014

According to operational data of SO UES Branch of JSC Interconnected dispatching office power supply systems of the Center (ODU of the Center), electricity consumption in the Unified Energy System (UES) of the Center in 2014 was 232913.5 million kvtch that there is 1.1% above than the level of similar indicator of 2013.

Total volumes of consumption and electricity production in CUC of the Center consist of indicators of power supply systems of the Belgorod, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Kursk, Oryol, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions and also Moscow and the Moscow region.

In 2014 growth of a power consumption relatively 2013 in power supply systems of the Belgorod region for 0.6%, the Bryansk region for 0.5%, the Vologda region for 0.8%, the Voronezh region for 2.0%, the Kaluga region for 10.2%, the Kostroma region for 0.5%, Kursk region for 5.4%, the Lipetsk region for 1.4%, Moscow and the Moscow region for 1.1%, the Oryol region for 0.2%, the Ryazan region for 2.1%, the Smolensk region for 0.8% is recorded. Decrease in a power consumption in twelve months 2014 in comparison with the same period of 2013 is mentioned in power supply system of the Vladimir region for 1.3%, the Ivanovo region for 2.4%, the Tambov region for 0.9%, the Tver region for 0.5%, Tula region for 0.1%, the Yaroslavl region for 2.5%.

Power plants of CUC of the Center for 2014 developed 239215.6 million kvtch that is 1.4% more, than for 2013. Development of TPP in 2014 made 141765.4 million kvtch (59.3% in structure of development of CUC of the Center) that there is less similar indicator of 2013 for 2.2%. Development of the HEPS during this period made 2977.4 million kvtch (1.2% in structure of development of CUC of the Center) that there is less development of the HEPS in 2013 for 13.7%. Development of the NPP during this period made 94472.8 million kvtch (39.5% in structure of development of CUC of the Center) that there is more development of the NPP during the period from January to December, 2013 for 8.0%.

In December, 2014 electricity consumption in CUC of the Center was 23124.1 million kvtch that is 2.9% more, than in December, 2013.

Increase in consumption in December, 2014 in comparison with similar month 2013 is recorded in all power supply systems, except the Tambov region where this indicator decreased by 0.9%. In the Belgorod region consumption increased by 0.8%, in the Bryansk region for 2.8%, in the Vladimir region for 2.3%, in the Vologda region for 3.2%, in the Voronezh region for 2.5%, in the Ivanovo region for 0.4%, in the Kaluga region for 3.5%, in the Kostroma region for 6.2%, in Kursk region for 7.9%, in the Lipetsk region for 3.0%, in Moscow and the Moscow region for 3.3%, in the Oryol region for 2.4%, in the Ryazan region for 3.3%, in the Smolensk region for 0.04%, in the Tver region for 2.7%, in Tula region for 1.8%, in the Yaroslavl region for 2.6%.

Decrease in temperature on 1.9 s in comparison with December, 2013 became a pacing factor of increase in electricity consumption in December, 2014. Besides consumption growth by large scale power stations – the Kursk NPP, the Smolensk NPP, Kostroma and Cherepetskaya GRES and also some industrial consumers – cement works JSC Lafarzh Tsement, the oil refining company RNPK Ltd, Cherepovets iron and steel works JSC Severstal is recorded.

Electricity production in December, 2014 made 24641.9 million kvtch that is 6.2% more, than in December, 2013.

The Thermal Power Stations (TPS) in December, 2014 develop 15127.6 million kvtch (61.4% in structure of development of CUC of the Center), by hydroelectric power stations (hydroelectric power station) – 240.7 million kvtch (1% in structure of development of CUC of the Center), the nuclear power stations (NPS) – 9270.1 million kvtch (37.6% in structure of development of CUC of the Center). In comparison with December, 2013 development of TPP increased by 9.8%, development of the HEPS decreased by 20.9%, development of the NPP increased by 1.7%.
