SONM

SONM (Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining) is the Russian-Singapore company performing development and deployment of the technology IaaS-platform of the same name of the world distributed supercomputer on the basis of blockchain technology which provides accomplishment of computing problems of general purpose on an equipment range, including personal computers. The technology is created by the Russian developers on the basis of existing a component open source.

The SONM command works on creation of the decentralized cloud platform and already provided its alpha release. The cloud of SONM accumulates in itself capacities of servers, personal computers and other devices of the participants of Network worldwide occupied in a blockchain project.

Cloud solutions based on the decentralized computing resources perfectly are suitable for calculations in big data projects, training of neuronets, support of the distributed applications, reliable storage of big arrays of information. Technology cooperation with SONM

On November 1 Faceter and SONM, the distributed platform of calculations organized by the principle of mining announced the joint project. The companies will test work of algorithms Faceter for face recognition and the intellectual analysis of a video flow from surveillance cameras at the computing distributed SONM IaaS powers, will conduct research and development to create the solution ready for an output to the market. SONM develops MVP (minimal viable product) of a system for start on test network of 'air' then start on the main network in July-August, 2018 is planned.

Selectel and SONM will bring a blockchain in IaaS

In October, 2017 Selectel, the Russian provider of cloud and hosting services, and SONM, a blockchain platform of the decentralized cloud resources, concluded the Memorandum of cooperation. In partnership of the company are going to create IT and infrastructure solutions for business based on blockchain technology. On the Russian IaaS the market it is the first similar initiative.

Jointly Selectel and SONM intend to create cloud solutions an enterprise level. The first results of the company are going to provide to the market in 2018.
