Funding of PPF group structures

Launch of the sowing fund project

Sberbank CIB, Sberbank's corporate and investment business, announced on August 30, 2018 the launch of the project to create the first Russian Investment Fund for investments in the preparation of infrastructure projects. Integration of Corporate Business and Sberbank CIB

On August 22, 2018, Sberbank announced its decision to integrate the Corporate Business and Corporate Investment Business (Sberbank CIB) blocks working with corporate customers. Integration is planned to be completed by the end of 2018. According to the bank's expectations, this will make it possible to form a single technological, management and product platform for working with customers, to obtain a significant synergistic effect for further optimization of working with customers of the corporate sector.

As a result of the integration, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank Anatoly Popov, head of the Corporate Business block, will coordinate the work of the Sberbank CIB block. In turn, the heads of Sberbank CIB - senior vice presidents of the bank Alexander Bazarov and Igor Bulantsev - will continue their activities in their current positions under the leadership of Anatoly Popov.

First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Vedyakhin will continue to oversee the activities of the entire corporate business of the bank.

On July 31, 2018, Sberbank announced the launch by the corporate investment business Sberbank CIB of a project on robotic automation of credit agreements with major corporate customers. At the initial stage, the project is being implemented inside Sberbank CIB, before September 1, 2018, the operation of the algorithm on industrial data will begin.

Sberbank CIB robotic credit processing

A software robot with a working name iCredo optimizes the work of Sberbank CIB employees with credit agreements of the largest customers. The robot is a joint development of the development department and the lending department of Sberbank CIB, the CIB Support Center of the Technologies block and the Sberbank Process Robotization Laboratory.

According to developers, the use of the iCredo software robot will reduce the time for establishing loan agreements in Sberbank's systems by 2.5 times, minimizing human-related errors and, as a result, reducing the bank's operating expenses.

Robotic process automation Robotic Process Automation(,) RPA improves efficiency by implementing algorithms to solve standardized problems. Using this technology, Sberbank opens accounts to legal entities, issues loans to individuals, processes executive documents and issues leave to employees. According to the bank, thanks to RPA, 75 thousand man-hours have already been saved.

On July 31, 2018 , it became known about the introduction of a robot collector in VTB, which will collect debts from bank customers.

The first bonds in Russia using smart contracts on the blockchain

In May 2018, MTS, the leading telecommunications operator in Russia, Sberbank CIB, the corporate investment business of Sberbank and the National Settlement Depository (NSD) placed Russia's first ruble commercial bonds using blockchain technology with the implementation of the full life cycle of the security in the form of a set of smart contracts - from placement to full fulfillment by the issuer of its obligations to the investor.

National Settlement Depositary provided its own blockchain platform based on Hyperledger Fabric 1.1 for the transaction. Sberbank CIB became the organizer and main buyer of the issue of MTS bonds for a period of 6 months in the amount of 750 million rubles. More details here.

2012: Sberbank closes Troika takeover deal

On January 23, 2012, Sberbank of the Russian Federation and Troika Dialog announced the closure of the merger transaction.

As part of the integration of Troika Dialog into the structure of Sberbank, a new business direction is being created: a corporate investment bank (CIB), which will provide services to the largest Russian and foreign corporations and financial institutions. Credit Suisse consortium - Troika Dialog becomes an investment consultant at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Troika Dialogue holds the third Forum Russia in Moscow. The Troika Dialogue is a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum in Davos for the second year in a row.

2011 In 2011, Troika Dialogue is one of the leaders in the investment banking business in Russia and Ukraine.
