Clients of the company are tens of thousands of home users, the organizations and educational institutions. Servers of the company are in the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kiev (Ukraine). In base of service there are more than 9 million websites separated into 50+ of categories.

History

2011

On June 30, 2011 the Russian service of Internet filtering SkyDNS went out of Russia and created the DNS center in Ukraine. Thus SkyDNS became the first SaaS the service of Internet filtering working at the territory of Ukraine. The services of Internet filtering of the harmful websites, parent control and blocking of banners provided by the company were available in the territory of Ukraine and earlier, however creation of the server platform of a cloud service directly in Ukraine allows to increase reliability of service and to increase response speed for users in Ukraine, Belarus and the western regions of Russia. Now the share of the Ukrainian users of SkyDNS makes nearly 7% of the total number of users of service. In the closest plans of SkyDNS company start of commercial rates for home users, the organizations and schools with advanced functionality, development of the provided services and quality improvement of base of the categorized websites.
