1S:BIT continued implementation of the M&A strategy and purchased the St. Petersburg company "Soft-Market", the second in value 1C: Franchisee in the region. Transaction amount does not reveal.

The St. Petersburg company "Soft-Market" was a partof 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT), the largest regional network among 1C companies franchisees. It is said in the official statement of the company. How much purchase cost, official sources do not report.

The Soft-Market company takes the 2nd place in the rating of 1C: Franchisee across St. Petersburg, being one of leaders in sales of programs of business appointment and implementation of systems for retail and restaurant business. The Soft-Market training center is included into the first five of the centers of the certified training of 1C.

As a result of merge Soft-Market became new office of the St. Petersburg division of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT). "Consolidation means an opportunity to receive more full range of services from some hands when preserving high quality for our customers", -Roman Kalinkin', the head of Northwest division of BIT company [[Kalinkin Roman|]] said '.

In full strength or not the Soft-Market group joins in BIT is not reported. However Timofey Chervyakov, the CEO of Soft-Market company, told that for the staff of the company merge it "additional opportunities of both horizontal, and vertical growth as a part of BIT company".

Emergence of one more office significantly strengthens positions of BIT in the field of automation of trade production companies, retailers and restaurant business and also in the field of the certified training in programs 1C, i.e. in those areas where has strong competence Soft-Market.

Development in regions due to merge and absorption of smaller players – a basis of strategy of BIT. In 14 years of work in the market of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan more than 15 companies were a part "1C: Accounting and Trade".

Among the last such transactions it is possible to remember purchase of the Voronezh company "Art-Kom" last year, also last year – the Moscow firms "AVRO-BUS" and "Ordos". In January, 2001 the structure of the Voronezh branch 1S:BIT also included Moscow Service company.

As for directly St. Petersburg market, here several years the tendetion of enlargement of business larger 1C of players due to purchase of the medium-sized and small companies of a franchaykhza prevails. For example, in 2007 the St. Petersburg company "MS-Service" replaced the name with "1C: The northwest", having received together with a new name the status of official distributor of 1C company in the Northwestern Federal District, also 1C was purchased "by 1C: Vektro".

It is possible to remember and one more example of 2007 – then the Moscow player 1C-Rarus began the activity in the Northern Capital with a company takeover Spotlights based on which the 1C-Rarus branch opened.

Afterwards already "1C: Accounting and Trade" purchased the St. Petersburg company "Nova IT" which works in the development areas and implementations of the systems of transport logistics and GPS. Also in 2005 two local players – "1C: Franchisee" of "OLS" and consulting company "Document A" joined Northwest division of the company.
