2019: Accenture purchased Storm Digital

In the middle of March, 2019 the Accenture company rendering services in the field of management consulting, information technologies and outsourcing announced Storm Digital acquisition, having continued series of absorption which strengthen digital business.

Financial and other terms of transaction do not reveal. It is known that Storm Digital together with 90 employees will be a part of division of marketing services of Accenture Interactive which, according to information on the official site, helps the companies to create new client experience and to manage it at all stages of interaction with the buyer. This structure develops offers in the field of design, marketing, content management and e-commerce.

Accenture purchased the marketing agency Storm Digital for development of services of digital transformation

Having absorbed Storm Digital, the Accenture company will be able to expand business in the Dutch market and to continue improvement of the portfolio of services for digital transformation.

Purchase of Storm Digital became a part of the large-scale plan of Accenture for expenditure of $1.5 billion for acquisitions of assets in 2019 financial year.

Accenture buys the marketing companies — from traditional advertizing agencies to design firms because it aims to expand services for the heads specializing in marketing. Other consulting firms, including Deloitte and PwC, started implementation of similar strategy, but Accenture moves ahead due to acquisitions more actively here.[1]
