TSO Logic — the Canadian company founded in 2013 specializing in solutions for expense optimization on cloud computing. The startup offers the integrated open platform helping to optimize delivery of applications on any Wednesday of data centers. The software provides transparency of IT transactions, analytics and the automated management tools for the purpose of performance improvement.

On the official site of TSO Logic it is reported that the technology which is developed by the company "absorbs millions of data points from your environment, including age, generation and a configuration of all hardware and the software which they use and also the history of use of each virtual machine".

These data in combination with algorithms of machine learning are applied to creation of a statistical model of computing templates for the purpose of forecasting of exact expenses and also to informing users on where resources are spent too much and where it is possible to achieve economy.

History

2018: Amazon was purchased by TSO Logic

In January, 2019 announced Amazon TSO Logic acquisition. The transaction which cost does not reveal registered cloud division of online retailer — Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Thanks to this purchase AWS will receive the platform which helps the companies to adjust the size of the environment and to determine total ownership cost. Software of TSO Logic is often applied by system integrators, helping them to make decisions on placement of workflows — in a private or public cloud — by accuracy matching of the corresponding expenses.

The transaction on sale of TSO Logic of AWS company was closed in December, 2018.[1]
