2020: Opening of sales of SIM cards of Megafon with self-registration

On March 23, 2020 Megafon announced opening of sales of SIM cards with self-registration for Tmall, a resource of AliExpress Russia, and in own online store with a free delivery in 1 day. Read more here.

2019

Opening of KIVI online store

On December 26, 2019 it became known that the international KIVI brand opened official shop on Tmall marketplace (Russia works based on AliExpress). Start of sales on a marketplace will allow the company to expand the direction online of sales and to continue strategy implementation of satisfaction of key requests of consumers.

Start of the next line TVs — model using technology of creation of the display using quantum points of Kvantum Dot is also dated for opening of shop. TVs are also equipped with the system of voice actuation Far Field. The virtual assistant recognizes voice commands using which you can find the video instruction "how to wash a cat" on YouTube, even being in the bathroom. Besides, TVs will get support OS Android 9 and an expanded color gamma of WCG for the bigger depth of flowers on the screen.

Opening of Panasonic online store

On November 20, 2019 it became known that the company Panasonic Russia opens official shop on Tmall which is included into joint venture AliExpress Russia. This step continues marketing the strategy Panasonic focused on diversification and digitalization of sales channels. Within a year the company expects to increase the range of the home appliances and the goods for beauty provided on Tmall, for 50%.

Opening of Megafon online store

On November 11, 2019 MegaFon announced start of the online platform on Tmall, a resource of AliExpress Russia. In a starting line of shop of Megafon — products of Apple.

The shop of Megafon is available to the address megafon.ru.aliexpress.com. By day of sales on November 11 on the platform a number of the Apple iPhone models in several flowers is provided. Thus, Megafon became the first official Russian reseller Apple on the platform Tmall. In days of a sale products in shop of Megafon will be provided at a discount from Tmall. So, the iPhone XR model 64 Gb will be available for 42,490 rub. The goods delivery is performed by own courier service and the logistic partner Megafon Retail. In the future the range of online store will extend.

Electronics — the most popular category on number of user queries on AliExpress Russia (4.5 million a month, the indicator grows more than for 10% year-on-year). Users of Tmall in Russia are in smartphones, TVs and robots vacuum cleaners especially actively interested. Sales of category make about 40% of a total turnover of the platform and grow more than for 100% in monetary and for 50% - in quantitative expression year-on-year.

Plans for opening of Citilink online store

On October 17, 2019 it became known that electronic discounter Citilink and Tmall announced cooperation – in joint plans opening until the end of October, 2019 of Citilink online store on the platform of marketplace. For October 17, 2019 preparatory work for start of pilot testing is conducted. In shop about 20 commodity categories and over 5 thousand names of goods – smartphones, notebooks, TVs, system units and component parts and also many other things will be available.

Within the project works on integration of information systems of the companies are carried already out – synchronization of the range, a remaining balance and the prices Citilink will happen in the automated mode using API. The show-window Citilink on Tmall will be available both in the web version, and in mobile application. Citilink will be engaged in delivery and service directly.

Citilink is specialized shop of the equipment and electronics, and will remain in this model. According to an internal research, 55% of the Russian buyers begin search of gadgets and different devices for the house on specialized platforms as ours, it validates the selected rate. In the Russian Federation AliExpress Russia is engaged in brand development of Tmall. Partners and shareholders of the company are the largest brands, such as Alibaba Group, Mail.ru, MegaFon and "Russian Direct Investment Fund".

2018: Beginning of sales of the Russian Librederm cosmetics

The Tmall Global marketplace which is a part of Alibaba Group approved a Librederm brand exit (from Zeldis Pharma company) on the Chinese market — the first flagman shop of the Russian cosmetics on the platform Tmall opened on August 8, 2018. At the initial stage of investment into promotion of the first cosmetic brand from Russia will make 15 million yuans. It is expected that will help to win the consumer the growing interest of the Chinese youth in the personalized cosmetics and also strategic search of Alibaba Group of new partners in the industries of beauty of the countries of Europe and Asia.

Work on promotion of the Russian brand in China began in May when the initiator of this cooperation, "M. Tolk" company, brought to Moscow six famous Chinese bloggers for shooting of production sites and Librederm shops and also for interviewing of founders of the company. In June preliminary opening of online store for debugging of all chain of processes took place: from the order before delivery. Then the sole distributor of the Russian producer in China CreaMore company carried out focus groups among 50 Chinese byyuti-experts and consumers of several lines of Librederm. On the basis of data retrieveds the Mezolux series and 3D-Fillers for starting sales in China were selected.

From more than 190 names of cosmetic products of Librederm in the Chinese shop as of August 8 16 positions, from them six — serumal concentrates of a line of Mezolux are provided. Lines of Mezolux and 3D-Fillers — some of most expensive among Librederm products in Russia, however for China their cost is included into a mid-price segment. These products are interesting to women and men.

At the end of February representatives of Tmall Global told us about strategic plans to place more cosmetic brands from the different countries on the platform — Xin Tanmina, the CEO M. Tolk who involved in cooperation with the Chinese corporation of the Russian producer told. — We conducted a research of the Russian market and defined several companies conforming to requirements of Tmall Global. In March invited them to Shanghai to a conference for a meeting with Tmall Global and potential distributors. The Zeldis company owning a brand of Libriderm became interested in our offer as it appeared, they looked for partners for entry into the Chinese market long ago.

To China two lots of products of Librederm are already delivered. The goods for sale to the end consumer are stored under customs locks Alibaba Group corporations in Hangzhou, for sending to dealers on places the warehouse in Hong Kong is used. The first two batches were delivered by airplane, in process of increase in purchasing amounts transition to sea and railway transportations is planned.
