By its estimates, in Russia the annual market of an APCS in this industry, including software and the equipment, makes about 70-80 billion rubles. From it 10-15% are the share of software.

By estimates of the created union, in the market of an APCS for oil processing and gas processing of the Russian companies is practically not present: 99.9% it are occupied by the western producers. In an oil production segment a share of import suppliers (both controllers, and software) – not less than 80%.

Thus, the Russian producers in this market are, but they are strongly fragmented, Boris Haras therefore they need to cooperate says.

According to him, it is going to combine efforts of the Russian developers, to find alliances to propose to customers in the market of energy industry completely Russian solutions.

In a sense creation of the union is and there is an alliance. We [the founder companies of the union] together close almost all basic needs on business processes of vertically integrated oil companies – about 80%, – Boris Haras explained.

For example, Atomik Soft developed and advances a universal software platform for automation of an oil and gas sector, Gridpoint Dynamics is engaged in modeling of fields, etc.

According to him, in consolidation of the Russian developers it is interested as the state which announced the strategy of import substitution, and the largest customers (first of all, oil) for whom it has to be economic to implement the Russian technologies. In terms of ownership cost they are cheaper, than foreign, he notes.
