JSC Uralmash is the rayonoobrazuyushchy center of mechanical engineering industry in Yekaterinburg. Today is about 17 thousand employees on its staff. In 1996 JSC Uralmash was a part of JSC OMZ – the largest engineering company of Russia. The equipment made on Uralmashplant is delivered to dozens of the countries of the world: CIS countries, Eastern and Western [1], Middle East, India, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, Africa, Northern and Latin America.

2018: Uralmashplant started projects of digitalization of production

In December, 2018 it became known that its main project – an automated system of cyclic planning which will allow the enterprise to react quicker to requirements of the market is brought into commercial operation, to model loading of capacities for several years ahead and at a stage of contracting to estimate possibilities of production for order fulfillment at the planned terms.

Complex information technology development on Uralmashplant takes place within an investment program which is implemented at the enterprise by the main strategic partner of UZTM – Gazprombank. Implementation of its key project of automated - the system of cyclic planning (SCP) – will allow to increase efficiency of business processes in general.

Testing of STsP developed by specialists of directorate in information technologies of UZTM took place within seven months. showed that time for creation of cyclic diagrams and formation of balance of capacities - since three weeks till one and a half-two o'clock was significantly reduced. "It will give us the chance to quickly calculate planned loading of the equipment with the different nomenclature, to reveal "narrow" places on specific groups of the equipment and timely decision making on their "lacing". And that also more is not less important – to create real long-term (for a year) production schedules taking into account requirements of the market", - the director of planning and the organization of processes of Uralmashplant Evgeny Teplov says.
The algorithms put in a system also allow to analyze a full stroke of the order: from purchase of component parts before shipment that will allow to calculate precisely production time of specific products at a contracting stage, having simulated the optimal scenario of its production. "Production in precisely specified time – one of key arguments in negotiations with the customer as it directly influences his business", - the sales director of the crushing and plate equipment of Uralmashplant Mikhail Gunitsev notes.
The system of cyclic planning - a starting point. In the nearest future the directorate on information technologies will start development of a technique of operational planning and dispatching of production (issue of a planned daily task in workshops). "We move towards creation of "smart production", making use of both experience of world techniques and the technology know-how, and gradually all blocks of production will be involved in projects on digitalization: from engineering service to workshops", - the CIO of Uralmashplant Vladimir Kiselyov notes.
