VanBerlo — the Dutch consulting company founded in 1982 helping to create digital products by means of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and Big Data. Combining these technologies, VanBerlo helps clients to integrate physical entities with digital to services and to provide more personalized solutions for users. Representatives of such industries as health care, the banking sector, IT, consumer goods and mobile technologies are among customers.

History

2020: Accenture purchased VanBerlo

In February, 2020 Accenture announced VanBerlo acquisition. The companies did not begin to disclose the cost of the transaction, as well as other terms of agreement.

It is known only that after accomplishment of all formalities concerning the transaction, VanBerlo will join the European department of division of Accenture Industry X.0 which staff help clients to improve design methods, developments and productions of products and services and also operation of industrial facilities. This division relies on such opportunities as design and thinking, digital technologies, creation of prototypes and an innovation, reported on the website Accenture. About 90 employees of VanBerlo will be a part of Industry X.0.

VanBerlo is the not first Dutch company absorbed by Accenture. Earlier the agency of innovations Happen, Storm Digital company (March, 2019) and Mobgen (July, 2016) were purchased.[1]
