League of the safe Internet – the organization created for counteraction to distribution of dangerous content in worldwide network. Commercial, public organizations, representatives of mass media and individuals which have an opportunity and desire to make a real contribution to fight against dangerous content on the Internet can become members of the league. The League includes tens of Russian companies, including, telecom operators, searchers, developers of program software, public organizations and so forth.

One of the main tools in activity of cybercombatants are "hot" lines of League of the safe Internet http://www.ligainternet.ru/hotline/ where they address at detection on the Internet of the dangerous or prohibited content. Experts of league of the complaint estimate. At confirmation of availability of dangerous information — address owners of the website with the recommendation to delete illegal content. If information is not removed, data on the Internet page are transferred to appropriate authorities for further blocking (in the State Office of Public Prosecutor — if the speech about extremist and separatist information, in Rospotrebnadzor — if the speech about promotion of a suicide, in FDCS — if the speech about promotion of drugs, in Roskomnadzor — if the speech about a child pornography).

2013: A hot line for cyber-combatants

Fight of combatants-volunteers against distribution of dangerous and illegal content in many respects became possible thanks to the changes made in November, 2012 in the Russian legislation which gave the chance extrajudicially to block access to the websites containing promotion of drugs, suicides and a child pornography.

"This problem is relevant for Russia more than ever. For example, nearly a half of the websites on narcotic subject which exist in the world are focused on Russian-speaking users" — Davydov Denis gave an example.

Task of the combatant to give a signal on "hot line" of League of the safe Internet or "hot line" of Roskomnadzor of availability of illegal information on these or those resources. After check and in case of not elimination of dangerous content the website is included in so-called "black" lists.

So, in 9 months 2012 with active participation of cybercombatants on hot lines of League of the safe Internet 26 thousand instructions on the websites with a child pornography (10,697 resources were closed) and 1,545 instructions on the websites with promotion of drugs arrived (330 were closed).

2011

Kiberdruzhina is the volunteer organization created by league in 2011. It integrates more than 20 thousand volunteers from all Russia and the CIS countries fighting against dangerous content on the Internet and also helping law enforcement agencies to reveal and make responsible the persons committing crimes in virtual environment. As of the beginning of 2017 departments of Kiberdruzhina work in 39 regions of the Russian Federation.
