ERP in Russia 2007: Industries, Projects, Systems, Integrators

During a research by analysts of TAdviser information more than about 2033 ERP projects in Russia, by the implemented 104 companies integrators in 37 branches of the economy was collected. The number of the considered ERP systems included the software products of 15 developers presented at the Russian market: 1C (only the 1C: Enterprise 8.0 platform), Epicor|Scala, IFS, Infor, Microsoft, Oracle, R-Style Softlab, SAP, SSA Global (Infor), Businesstekhnologiya, Galaktika, "Infosoft", Compass and Parus.

Based on the conducted research different rankings and structures of the market of ERP projects in Russia were made. Besides, within the analysis of the implemented projects data on the implemented ERP systems on all 2033 projects were collected. It gave the chance to receive a picture of use of ERP systems in various sectors of the economy of Russia and also to define the largest integrators of each of ERP systems in our country.

It is obvious that by consideration of structure of the market (ERP integrators) in piece expression, the players implementing the simple budget systems come out on top. For this reason partners of 1C become the largest ERP integrators on the number of the implemented ERP projects in Russia. So, "1C: Accounting and Trade"  fell to the share 8.6% (174 ERP projects) of all considered ERP projects, and "1C: Rarus" took the third place from 6.9% (141 projects). At the same time, on the second place – rather traditional integrator which is usually not limiting the projects with implementation only of the accounting module – Kompas company – the developer of the system of the same name (107 projects), and takes the fourth place absolutely usual integrator in the Russian treatment – the Impact-Soft company specializing in product introduction of Microsoft Dynamics (5.3%). It is possible to draw a conclusion that inexpensive products with rather simple cycle of implementation, such as solutions constructed based on "1C: Enterprise 8.0", the products Microsoft Dynamics and solutions of Kompas and Parus companies are in the most mass demand in Russia.

At the same time, having left a question of functional completeness of the implemented ERP system (it is a subject of the next research of the TAdviser Center executed at the moment), for severity of consideration, it is possible to separate all the integrators stated above into 2 groups: integrators – the franchisee 1C and "classical" ERP integrators. But even at such approach, the structure of leaders in group of "classical", changes not really significantly. This circumstance is caused by the fact that it is necessary to classify projects by scale (or at least as the implemented ERP system), and already in this methodology to identify local leaders.
