License Revocation

The Bank of Russia informed about the revocation from November 24, 2015 of the banking license from the credit institution PJSC NOTA-Bank.

Central Bank introduced a temporary administration in Nota Bank

On October 12, Note Bank was disconnected from the Bank of Russia electronic payment system. A few days earlier, the bank began to delay customer payments, and also limited the issuance of cash.

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation announced in October 2015 the appointment of a temporary administration from October 13 and the introduction of a moratorium on satisfying the requirements of Nota Bank's creditors. The moratorium, the regulator said, is introduced for a period of three months in order to "ensure equality in protecting the rights of all creditors in the conditions of bank insolvency."

The introduction of a moratorium, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation recalled, is an insured event. Payments to depositors of Nota Bank, including individual entrepreneurs, will begin no later than 14 days from the date of the moratorium.

The procedure for payment of insurance compensation is determined by the state corporation "Deposit Insurance Agency."

In the Interfax-CEA ranking, Nota Bank ranked 76th in terms of assets. As of July 1, 2015, RIA Rating estimated the size of Nota-Bank's assets at 88 billion rubles. According to Vedomosti, companies in the space and defense industries that had accounts with Nota Bank have been actively withdrawing their funds since July.

Self-collection for SMBs

In September 2015, NOTA-Bank, together with LAN ATMservice (part of the LANIT group), launched a self-collection service to support small and medium-sized businesses. The service is provided on the basis of the AVIR smart safe, which transfers cash to the organization's account in real time. The device is installed directly in the store and is equipped with a safe of the first class of protection, which allows you to deposit and safely store cash before the arrival of the collection service.

The service of self-collection in NOTA-Bank will allow enterprises to count on the crediting of cash revenue to accounts daily during the day. At the same time, the outlet transfers responsibility for the safety of funds to the bank at the time of their entry into the AVIR. In the device, all bills are verified for authenticity using modern validation tools. In comparison with the usual collection procedure, this avoids the risks of shortage, re-sorting or additional recalculation of revenue in the bank. After the cash is deposited, the AVIR smart safe prints the reporting documents for the store. Thus, the staff of the outlet saves time on such non-core tasks as the preparation of additional supporting documentation, packaging and handing over cash to collectors.

Thanks to the settings of the smart safe, AVIR NOTA-Bank sees the filling of cash cassettes in real time. Using the standard NDC banking protocol, information about this is sent to the processing center of the financial institution. Based on the statistics received, the bank generates an optimal schedule for the departure of collection machines to customer outlets and builds a convenient scheme for the interaction of internal divisions with the collection service.

Head of NOTA-Bank (PJSC) Vitaly Kovalev: "Self-collection is a modern and innovative solution for the banking sector. The new service will allow stores to immediately accrue trading revenue to their current accounts. At the same time, staff will not need to go outside the store. After all, the device is compact and can be installed even in the most modest utility room or in the cash register area of the trading floor. This makes the self-collection procedure safe. Since the beginning of the year, we have already launched several dozen AVIR smart safes with a self-collection service for customers and see a high potential for the development of this service in the future.
