Biography

1994-2007: Career in Cisco

In 1994 Charles Giancarlo began to work in Cisco after the IT giant purchased the producer of Kalpana Ethernet-routers in whom Giancarlo was vice president.

In 1999 Charles Giancarlo began to be responsible for business on release of the corporate products Cisco. In the 2003rd he became the technical director. During operating time in Giancarlo's Cisco supervised development of different technologies in the field of routing, Wi-Fi, information security, the IP telephony and telepresence.

Charles Giancarlo was considered as one of the main contenders for the CEO's position instead of John Chambers, however in December, 2007 he left Cisco.

2017: CEO of Pure Storage

At the end of August, 2017 the flash memory of Pure Storage announced producer of the storage systems (SS) on a basis Charles Giancarlo's appointment the new CEO of the company.

Released Scott Dietzen who resigns for the unnamed reasons from a post of the head of Pure Storage of Giancarlo.  Dietzen worked in the company since 2010.
